“Amazing coffee shop. Big windows from floor to ceiling that let in a ton of natural light, and views of the surrounding cedar forest (with trails that you can snowshoe and bike). A canoe hanging from the ceiling. Several people working on their laptops. Great atmosphere. I got a chai and my girlfriend got a coffee and croissant. All were perfect. Staff were super friendly. This coffee shop shares a roof with a bike shop that sells, rents and repairs bikes, so if you're passionate about bikes, this is the place for you.“

“We went for breakfast (highly recommend Betty's breakfast sandwhich) and it was delicious. Everything came out so fast and was cooked to perfection. My husband told the waitress it was my birthday and she brought our pie out with a candle on top and quietly sang me happy birthday. It was just wonderful service. Also, the prices can't be beat.“

“This restaurant has delicious fresh sandwiches (I had the cranberry turkey) and a nice drink selection (root beer floats!). There is a lovely outdoor patio and indoor seating space as well. Service was excellent. A great spot for a refreshment break on the North Shore. Highly recommend.“

“We stopped here for lunch on our way to Lutsen. We had the place to ourselves on a Monday in April. Our food was excellent! I loved the Portabella burger and my kids thought the burgers and fries were great! It's a little spendy - burgers are $18. There is free parking outside and nice view of Lake Superior! It's worth a stop here on your way up north!“

“Best "value" on the North Shore! This is simply an old school cafe, nothing fancy, just simple good eating. The food is great, the portions good, and the prices excellent. Not many places you can get hotdish anymore!Anytime I'm hungry and near the area, I plan to stop there. For best "quality food" I would recommend Rustic Inn cafe about 1/2 hour further up the north shore.“

“Good food with a glorious view and attentive service. I love finding these hidden gems on roadtrips! Typical American food that is made well with great presentation. We had a late breakfast and enjoyed our meals - Eggs Benedict and pancakes with chocolate chips. Perfect portion sizes - not too much and not too little. A cup of coffee is $4, my only gripe that's not really a gripe.“

“Were here for an early dinner in a snowstorm on a Tuesday evening - a quiet night. But the service from Cheryl was exceptional and we all enjoyed our food - a walleye dinner, mac and cheese with kielbasa and chicken schnitzel. My sister ordered a side salad and it was lovely - we all kind of wished we'd ordered one too. Only thing was that the server said it was a $4 up charge and she was charged $5. Other than that, everything was great.“

“Absolute perfection! I stopped by Wednesday (2/7) after a morning of moseying down 61 stopping here and there to hike along Superior with my old dog, Stout. I was in the mood for a hardy breakfast and boy did I stop at THE RIGHT PLACE!! If you like corned beef - I mean REAL shredded corned beef (not the dog-food-ish canned variety) then you will love this … order the Castle Danger Hash. Y U M !! Two eggs & your choice of toast (with a mixed berry heavenly jam) complete this dish. Crispy, best I’ve EVER had cubed potatoes are included. I opted for poached eggs and they were perfect! OK - and the service?? There’s gotta be something bad about this place right? Wrong! Shauna rocked!!!Don’t pass by this place if you’re looking for a satisfying brunch experience in Two Harbors!Jetta in Ely“
