Absolute perfection! I stopped by Wednesday (2/7) after a morning of moseying down 61 stopping here and there to hike along Superior with my old dog, Stout. I was in the mood for a hardy breakfast and boy did I stop at THE RIGHT PLACE!! If you like corned beef - I mean REAL shredded corned beef (not the dog-food-ish canned variety) then you will love this … order the Castle Danger Hash. Y U M !! Stopped in with some family members to try the place out and was impressed by the quality of the food. The Castle Danger hash was very good. The potatoes were crispy and the corned beef was not dry or from a can like at most breakfast places. Our server was very polite and quick to accommodate our needs throughout the experience. A true classic northern Minnesota diner environment that I will definitely return to when visiting the area in the future.

Use to come here every time I’m up north, and LOVED the oven baked omelette.. but after stopping by today 03/02/24 Im grossed out. the same thing i use to get tasted awful. I think they heated it up and they barely put any cheese on it. I left hungry and unhappy.
