“This was my first time thereunder it was great. My son goes with his friends all the time and will bring me back stuff to eat and that is very good. There not cheep,it is a bar and pub . Like I side this was my first time there and it's family friendly. Go check it out thay even have food specials and drink special for every day of the week.“
“Megan and Paige are awesome every time I come here! I come into town every few months and these two are very consistent, as a fellow bartender, even when they’re busy, they both give great service and do their job well! Just wanted to give these two a shout out for their amazing work ethic ? also the burgers here are 10/10“
“The Social House in Hermantown was recommended to us when we were in the area as a local favorite with great food, service, and atmosphere, and they did not disappoint! My husband got a burger and fries, and I had the Philly skillet and a caramel roll. The food was hot and fresh, and the caramel roll took me back in time to a small town cafe in the place I grew up. It was ahhhh-MAZING.Last (but most definitely not least!), our server Morgan was friendly, prompt, and professional. It was heartwarming to overhear her and the other server chat with nearby tables. We knew we were in a place that people return to regularly, which is a beautiful thing. Many kudos to the staff of The Social House in Hermantown. This was our first visit, but it definitely won’t be the last. We have found a new favorite restaurant in the Duluth area.“
“I had the shrimp ? basket with fries, Cole straw, Texas toast ? and a tall blue moon ? beer ? with my dinner ? it was perfect and reasonable prices, too. I went there for a get tonight with coworkers. we travel to different restaurants around the twin ports area ? I will definitely go back there someday again in the future ?“
“We stopped by after Church on Thursday, we knew we were pushing the time as FD closes at 8pm. We arrived just shy of 745 and were seated right away. The service was wonderful, the food is always good and fresh. Highly recommend.Parking: Easy access and accessible parkingKid-friendliness: Great family restaurant“
“One of my favorite breakfast places ever, definitely worth the wait if there is one. The staff is wonderful at keeping up with the hectic pace of this restaurant and everything is always delicious. The menu changes and that just makes you try something new!“
“Best liquor store in the Twin Ports for whisky and beer. I'm sure the wine selection is the best too, but I don't want nuthin' to do with that. I also can get my Laguinitas Hop Water and Liquid Death consistently here.If you want it, Keyport has it...or they can order it. I always reach out on Facebook messenger to the Keyport page and someone usually replies and tells me that they "ordered it, be here Tuesday." If you run into Nick there, he'll give you some great recommendations, too.Let's talk about the whisky and bourbon selection here. INSANE. They consistently get Buffalo Trace (it's still gone the same day they get it), including my prize 1.75 liter for a STEAL. And then there's Chris, who helped me get my hands on my first bottle of Eagle Rare. This review isn't about Eagle Rare, but let's say that it lives up to the hype for me...and is the best bourbon I've had to date. Thanks Chris...you are the man. You also can find anything!Keyport > all liquor stores in the Twin Ports. And it's Wisconsin, so tax is lower too! Winning!“
“OMC!! OMG!! They really can Smoke!!What a find! It pays to read reviews, as this restaurant is off the chart. I travel a lot, and it is about flavor, ambiance, customer service, and food variety. This restaurant has it all. The menu is BBQ based with some unique twist. I showed up for the White Alabama BBQ sauce I have been wanting to try. It was fantastic. I could put that sauce on everything. But their other sauces were very flavorful. My server (Sarah F) was great. She was very informative and gave history on each of the foods I asked about. And as a Arnold Palmer connoisseur, OMC had a great spin on their Arnie Palmer. They a spearmint Infused Hibiscus version, which represented a Winnie Palmer, and a fresh organic black tea version for Mr. Palmer. Absolutely delicious. and bottomless. The Jalapena Brisket Popper were outstanding. very unique and a great twice. Their 2 flame warning is really not hot at all. The BBQ meat platter with 2 sides was fantastic. The bark on the Ribs, was nice, but I really liked the thin layer of fat on the brisket. It made it moist and full of flavor with the White Bama Sauce. Yeah Baby!! Jalapena Grits and sweet Potato bake as the bomb. I even had their chocolate whoopi cake for dessert. One suggestion OMC, put a few more south desserts on the menu to round it out. Overall great meal, Great service by Sarah F, the ambience was comfortable and relaxed. Couple of notes, the restaurant charges a 5% kitchen staff charge, which is worth every penny. As well as a 3.5% charge for non-cash transaction which is the cost restaurants now have to incur. All worth it. OMC, thank you for letting me spend my one and only evening meal with in Duluth. A great memory at the end of my business trip. Photos below“
“This is my favorite Texas Roadhouse to visit. The staff are amazing. The managers are friendly and they are so helpful with my allergies. I’ve never gotten sick there, which is saying something because I get sick almost every place I eat out. They are so helpful with answering my questions. If they don’t know the answer right away, they help me figure it out. I can’t recommend them enough. The service was quick and the food was perfect.“
“It was our very first time here. Came in shortly before closing on a Wednesday night so it was relatively slow. Coney's and fries were good and the malt was amazing! Lucas and his coworker were very kind and helpful. Super friendly! Great atmosphere almost like an old diner with a more modern feel. And I loved the large Edmund Fitzgerald posters! Definitely recommend and we'll be back.“
“Solid “Greasy Spoon”. It feels good to be in one before they become extinct. I had the corned beef hash, eggs and pancake… pretty straight up. My elder daughter had a good fish n chips, I think it was cod. The younger one ordered 2 pancakes bigger than her head which she enjoyed and could not finish.I’m not going to remember the servers name name but he was sharp and kind gentleman. We ate there this morning. 4/06/2024.Parking: There is street parking and a big, free, parking lot across the street“
“We recently just moved to the area and have had about five different breakfast spots around the Twin Ports area. Let me just say, this is the best place BY FAR.My fiancé & I have been here 4 times, and each time we go, we get something different. We have never been disappointed with the food, as it is always delicious!Prices are competitive for the amount of food you get, the staff is always welcoming, which you don’t see much of anymore. If you are looking for a tasty breakfast spot in Duluth/Superior, look no further than right here! 5/5“
“Fresh, local and friendly. The seasonal menu is always tasty! We had the “rotating roll”which was a savory biscuit with braised beef, pickled jalapeño and cheddar- absolutely delicious! The pork verde fry bread came in at a close second- to be clear, they were both neck and neck for flavor. Our server was an absolute delight and only added to our wonderful experience.“
“One of my very favs in Duluth! Everything is great, but the pancakes are my personal fav. You're going to get A LOT of food, and the pancakes are literally the size of your head! It's a far west Duluth favorite, so be prepared to wait, have patience, and tip your staff well!“
“Absolutely wonderful experience every time we go there, even when it's a full on dinner rush! Service is stellar, food is absolutely amazing! Tonight I had their catch of the day which was the honey hot salmon - cooked to perfection with a delicious glaze of hot honey to spice it up. And I can't not mention their fresh baked rolls and buns, they are incredible!“
“My husband and I got married here on 9/22/2023 and we couldn't have imagined a better venue!! Everything was exactly as we'd pictured when we were planning! The pricing was very fair as well! The staff were incredible to work with; They were friendly, kind, and always ready to help out with anything we needed. They were also incredibly efficient when turning the main floor over from the ceremony to the reception!THE FOOD IS SO GOOD!!! We still have some of our guests reaching out to us to talk about how amazing the food was. We had a double sided buffet, which made the line go by significantly faster. There was even enough food for a good number of our guests to get more of certain items! The management team was also outstanding! In the months leading up to our wedding they were always one phone call or email away, and were very prompt in their response. They had every answer to every question asked, and always had such an upbeat energy about them!I can't recommend this venue enough!!!!“
“Love this place! The food was wonderful. We started off with the Tempura Fried Cauliflower. I loved the aioli sauce, and the whole dish was very tasty. We both ordered the Coconut Curry Rice Bowl with Chicken and it was sublime. I practically licked the bowl it was so good! We ordered a bottle of cabernet, which was decent but not great. Of course, after the first glass, it tasted just fine. :) For dessert we shared a very dense and very delicious piece of chocolate cake with whipped cream. So good! Definitely a place to come back to!Vegetarian options: Probably 75% of the menu appeared to be vegetarian or vegan. But everything we tried was delicious.Dietary restrictions: There were a lot of vegetarian and vegan options, also dishes that were gluten free.Parking: It's in downtown Duluth so parking can be iffy depending on when you go.“
“My husband and I were at the Canal Park location for brunch today for the first time and will be back as the staff was easily able to adjust for my personal tastes ( I HATE eggs) as well as service being timely. The only complaint I have is that my iced tea tasted like coffee, what I like to call “cofftea”. Whomever is in charge of brewing the tea should not be running the hot water through the coffee maker as the oils from the coffee end up in the tea making the tea taste bad.“
“We hosted an event here for roughly 60-70 people. Lilli was amazing to work with in planning the event, she made it seamless and very easy to get everything organized. The night of the event staff was all very helpful and friendly. Guests raved about the food quality and choices that were selected. I cannot recommend this team and venue enough!“
“Went to eat on fish fry night with family and had to stand until seats opened up. Fish was nice and not too hard, rather flaky. Most tables are high top. They do have handicap ramp but not a great seat up inside for it. They often have live music. My suggestion to the owners though is make the parking lot more than earth either gravel or pavement, also add more light at night. I'm glad my rents didn't slip on the icy mud and unseen ruts.Parking: Ruddy earth parking but big. Muddy when wet.Wheelchair accessibility: Have a ramp but most of the tables are high top.“
“We had dinner here a couple weeks ago. It was wonderful. Very nice atmosphere and all staff was very friendly, our waitress Amanda was very helpful in recommending food and drinks. A good time was had by our whole family. We will be returning soon!“
“We had a fabulous lunch at Clyde's today. Two of us ordered the pork sandwich and I had the BEST smoked salmon salad i've ever had. The sandwiches were great, too. Great industrial vibe, superior service (shout out to Sam, our server), and super good food - we will be back!“
“Private party, so bar was closed off to public. Bartenders worked their tail off & still friendly and fast. We were 3rd & 4th person in line for food, which oddly was cold. Mashed potatoes were good but no gravy, butter, or anything (strange) to put on them. They did off barbecue sauce “
“The enviroment at this establishment is fairly welcoming! After meeting with the owners--whom are very respectable-- I would highly recommend coming here to meet with this family owned eatery. The food here is phenomenal especially their chicken and waffles If I had had to rate this food I would give this a 9/10 the flavor combination is delicious and is unique! After tasting the burger and cheese curds I almost went to cloud 9! I would rate the cheese curds a 8.6/10 and the burger a 6/10. If I would rate this place I would have to say 10/10 highly recommend and I would come again!Kid-friendliness: The kiddos are welcomed!“
“Truffle fries with blue cheese and bacon were incredible. Best part of the meal honestly, would recommend.Great atmosphere.I got a New York Strip steak and it was cooked perfectly medium rare and delicious, I enjoyed the bearnaise sauce on it.Awesome spot!“
“The food here was amazing. It came quick. My friends kid had an accident and threw up on the table. Our server, Wyatt, was very kind and understanding. He brought a mop and rags, cleaned, sanatized. He told us it happens more than you think and it was absolutely no problem. Thank you for the food and for being so kind.“
“I had a blast at the Gopher ...I loved listening to Russel Sackett sing .....he was amazing .. beautiful voice killer songs from the 70s ...it was amazing .... Going back to see him....owner Steve was really cool And available to talk ...and our waitress the beautiful Amanda was beyond phenomenal ....the food was fantastic ..never a disappointment ....had a blast ??♥️“
“The restaurant is in an old gas station. Not much remodeling was done to make it a restaurant. Other then that the food is fine. Not a lot of parking, parking lot is weird and awkward with some semblance of the old gas pump bays. It's right in the middle of town making it popular for the older crowd that loves coffee and breakfast.“
“Sue is always full of warmth and love ready to spark up conversation. Her Gyros taste like a true traditional fresh shaved gyro. Every can of soda pop is ice cold. Her little corner is always clean and buzzing with chatter. 9/10 times I will take my kids here after shopping for a coney dog, per THEIR request. It's just THAT good.“
“Took a 2hr drive to see my son at college and decided to go here for burgers with him. Pleasantly surprised with our food & prices! I ordered a Rick M burger and he ordered the jalapeño cream cheese burger. Absolutely delicious!! I will be stopping here again!“
“Every time we come to Duluth we stop here. It’s one of our favorites! Whoever decorated this restaurant did an outstanding job and I wish they could come decorate my house. The service is outstanding every time. The food is consistent and delicious. You can tell the food is homemade and not just frozen. The Reuben and chicken fingers are our favorites but the French onion soup, cheese curds, and salads are great too! Give Lyric some love and try them out!“
“I haven been in tapa keg inn since 1988. My friend June J said she has been a customer here for a long time. The waitress Tiffany was very pleasant and I had the meatloaf sandwich and apple pie and raspberry tea. Very good thanks for great cooking. Shef . Ave to come back to try your liver meal.Enjoyed your friendly business.“
“TeJay waited on our group of 4 and was very attentive throughout our visit. I had a special request and I truly felt TeJay listened to my request and came prepared in case the dish wasn’t to my liking. I’ve never had another server be so proactive before. Kudos TeJay!!!!!“
“Ask for Tanner! He is awesome! He served our party of 3 on a Sunday night. He made sure that we had everything we needed and also helped out with some great recommendations. Good place for food! We came in very hangry, tanner was quick to get our food in and by the end we had full bellies and smiles. The apple crisp had my taste buds flying! We will be back! Thanks again!“
“The Shack was a new stop for us as we come to Superior a few times a year. Of the beaten path, as some would say, The Shack has plenty of room for big groups as well as couples to enjoy a decent meal. The bar setting looked nice as well. The service as timely and accommodation. There were decent selections on the menu and all items were fairly well priced. The smoked wings were very tasty. The nachos were aplenty and flavorful. The Firecracker Wrap was very tasty. And the fries were excellent, especially with the add-on option of Parmesan cheese. Plenty of parking. A nice place to visit if you are in the area.“
“This has got to be one of the most underrated, unknowns in all of Superior! Izzy's has great BBQ and I feel one of the best in the area! I've been here a number of times and each time it's delicious! His ribs, pork and chicken are an absolute delight! Rib meat falls right off the bone! Chicken is so smoky, juicy and tender! This place is the hidden gem of Superior for finger lickin great BBQ. Famous Dave's don't hold a candle to Izzys. If you haven't tried it yet, go get you some! What makes Izzy's different from the national chains is his homemade recipes. From ribs, to chicken, to pork, baked beans, coleslaw and everything in between. The owner has decades of BBQ experience and it's all right here for you to try! Go get you some good old fashioned BBQ from Izzy's! I highly recommend it!“
“I had a tuscan chicken pizza on a cauliflower crust (no cheese) - it was a delight. So glad that my dietary preferences can be accomodated.Dietary restrictions: I am dairy free, gluten free and was happy to be able to enjoy something other than a salad at a pizza place.“
“I love visiting this restaurant specifically to sit at the bar during happy hours to enjoy their half off appetizers and drinks specials. I'm addicted to their Bahama Mama's cocktail and their chicken wonton tacos. Not failing to mention that their staff is absolutely awesome and exceeds expectations of anyone's standards.“
“This experience was just average. I think we are used to the one on London Road in Duluth and this one is in Proctor. The restaurant in Duluth has a more romantic and special kind of atmosphere while Proctor has just a casual atmosphere. That might be the way it's supposed to be but I really enjoyed the one in Duluth. The service was great in Proctor but the sirloin steak was plain. Meatloaf was fantastic. If you like casual dining at that price then Proctor is your kind of place.“
“Always a great experience. Staff is friendly and attentive. Very pleased there is a separate vegan menu with great options. Real vegan entrees not just an impossible burger but well thought out entrees with great flavors and "meat" alternatives. Ask for the vegan menu. Other vegetarian items are clearly marked on the regular menu. Thnx for having great vegan options.“
“Went on Friday for a pizza and fries. Fries came out quick and very crispy. Pizza was some of the best I have had in a while. Great crust, cooked perfectly, fresh cheese and not too much grease. Probably going to make it a Friday routine now.“
“We started out with the Famous Onion Rings which where huge and so crispy when they brought them out!! I got the Original Bicycle Burger and added bacon lettuce and tomato to it because it doesn't come with the lettuce and tomato and my husband got the Steak Cheese French Sandwich and both were amazing!! Took home leftovers and had dinner that night and still tasted great after heating it up in the toaster oven!!! I'm telling you so much food even my husband had to finish my leftovers lol ?“
“I believe this is one of the better Applebee's around! I've been here many times and have really never had any real trouble. Sometimes, the service is a little off and serving staff isn't always attentive. However, it's a chain restaurant and it goes with the territory. I've never had bad food here. One time, my fries were cold but that's it. There specials and half price apps at 9pm, are a great deal. If you're in the mood for Applebee's, travel to this location. You won't be disappointed.Dietary restrictions: Each menu item gives full details of any dietary or allergy restrictions.“
“We celebrated our anniversary at Pier B and had dinner reservations at Silo Restaurant planned in advance through open table. When I call the restaurant they were great to coordinate with and helped me with getting my (3rd party) flowers delivered to our table prior to our arrival, so that was tremendously appreciated and above and beyond IMO.Our server, whose name is Taylor was really wonderful. He did not rush us as you would find in or 'feel' from many other restaurants. He was humorous, very personable and had the perfect balance of 'checking-in' to see if we needed anything. He was able to help us with wine selection, menu advice and truly had the dessert connections under ownership. :) Also... just get the dessert, even if you have to take it home, the carrot cake was tremendous. Silo... you have the atmosphere down, the chef certainly did an exquisite job on the ribeye, mussels, and calamari, however... the folks like Taylor on the 'front-line' make the night memorable, meaningful and provide us as clients unique experiences to share with friends and family. Please extend our appreciation. Thanks for the great dinner!Parking: Shared parking with the hotel. There was plenty of free parking, even on a Friday night.“
“We were in Duluth for a wedding and happened upon. This gem! We loved it so much we came back for breakfast a 2nd time! Food was great. Barb was as friendly as they come & Arnold is an amazing cook! Even accommodated my request to have French Toast made with Cranberry Wild Rice bread instead of the regular Texas Toast!“
