“Such a wonderful hidden gem! Great view of the water if you're seated at the bar or at the outdoor deck area. The employees and owner are super friendly. We have not eaten more than appetizers here, but have heard that the Ribs are top notch.“
“We decided to have dinner here a second time as the food and service were very good last time. This time it was Veteran's Day, November 11, 2023. One of us was a veteran and he wore his veteran hat. As a result he was given 3 free beers. The other 3 of us had to buy our drinks. I had the Smoked Brisket Street Tacos (a specialty here according to the menu). I opted for the horseradish version instead of the BBQ sauce. Three large tacos for $13. Very good, except I didn't taste any horseradish. I told our server and she promptly brought some for me. My wife had the Shrimp dinner. All was good once again. I do wish they had a better selection of craft beers here, especially porters or other dark beers. The closest was the Alaskan Amber, okay bot not a dark beer. The only other issue with this place is the hard-to-sit-at tables. They are high tops with solid wood sides and do not allow you to get close to your food to eat. Service is great here and the vibe here is pleasant.“
“I went in to get some road food. They have an amazing sign that says home-cooked food. I’ve been on the road for three months and haven’t had a home-cooked meal. I was welcome to a very big, huge smile, friendly staff, and everyone was very helpful and gave me the best meal for the road of it had in a long time.“

“I've been a seasonal . customer of the Buckhorn since 1978! I've seen a lot of changes to the bar. several owners, an addition and its a traditional stop for my hunting crew. The current owners and staff are friendly, even when understaffed. Their garlic infused Bloody Mary is nothing shirt of awesome. I would like to see the signature 1 pound Burger make its way back onto the menu....“
