“We rented a cabin on moose lake and went here for dinner and everything was delicious! Some of us ordered the broasted chicken and it was a large portion and Soo good! Coleslaw tastes like homemade and yummy too! They have WiFi which was Soo nice since we didn't have any service at our cabin and cheese curds are delicious too! Very clean and homey place! We found a new favorite place to go to when we come back!“
“This bar and grill is amazing!! From the badger hiding in the rafters, to the awesome fish fry and pizza, they’ve got everything. I personally hate eating crust on pizzas and normally give them to my wife, but this pizza I had to fight her for the crust because it’s soooooooo good. Thank you staff for you’re chill attitude and overall enthusiasm.Parking: Was difficult to find parking, but we managed.“
“We went in for the lunch special which was BLT and beer cheese soup. When entering the restaurant I could smell the fresh gyro meat cooking and I had to have one. So my wife and daughter got the special and I got the gyro. To say we were impressed would be an understatement. High quality ingredients and nice portion size. We are heading back for lunch tomorrow. As a larger man, some larger seats would be awesome, but I understand the size of restaurant might not allow. Thanks for a great experience.“
“Powell' on Round Lake is a Must visit while in the Hayward area! The view from the patio and restaurant is breathtaking, the service was prompt and courteous and the food was exceptional with reasonable prices and large portions. “We have enjoyed Black Iron for about obout 4 years now. The food is usually great, depending on who cooks. All in all the best burger, pizza and other sandwiches. The fries arent as good as they used to be and they used to have a buffalo chicken sandwich , yumm, no longer on menu.Try it, kind of on the pricey side.“
“We have stayed at the Flat Creek a number of times over the last 5 years. We have always been happy there (we love their Friday fish fry). On this trip, the front desk, wait staff, food quality, and bartender were again great.Having said that, I got the feeling that the housekeeping and maintenance staff are not up to the standard of the rest of the staff.When we went to turn down our bedding to go to bed, we discovered long black hair on the pillows and sheets!!! The only explanation we can come up with is that the bed was made, but bedding not changed after the last guest. VERY disappointing! Housekeeping was gone for the day, so it was not changed until the next day ...The hot tub was closed, and at least one entrance door has a faulty lock. The restaurant is no longer open for breakfast (replaced by cold wrapped food in the lobby that needs to be microwaved).All in all, it is a great facility with great food and service staff. I hope housekeeping and maintenence don't ruin it.“
“The walmart boys were looking for an amazing steak dinner, after we worked up there, the lady at the holiday Inn express directed us there and it was probably the best ribeye I've ever had certainly can't wait to work in that area again to go back and get another one!“
“A great fishing resort with very clean modern cabins, and the food that is prepared in the lodge is excellent!The hosts are very friendly and accommodating and are very willing to help with most whatever you need.I have been there 4 times and hope to go again very soon. Great place.“
“We had an exceptional dinner at Tavern at White Stag Farm. The steaks were some of the best I've ever had at a restaurant. Highly recommend the ribeye, which was perfectly seasoned and expertly cooked. The cheese curds came with a delicious spicy raspberry sauce instead of the traditional ranch dressing. Will be back again.“
