“The staff was great. The food could have been better, but was not bad overall. This is probably the most “downer” review I will ever give as I don’t usually leave reviews if they are not 5 stars, but I should mention my pizza was great so that was neat. My companion did not appreciate his sandwich in the least. That being said, the place is great, and the staff is super friendly, so kudos on that!“
“The restaurant is out in the "sticks". Not fancy. The menu is simple - mainly burgers and other sandwiches. For appetizers we shared fried cheese curds and roasted Brussels sprouts. Both were delicious. One of the great things about the place is that they have a play area for kids. Our two year old grandson spent a lot of time there. They are open only on Thursdays through Sundays. Friendly service, too.“
“This is a great place! We stop here whenever we are passing through Moose Lake and have never been less than impressed with the food and service. The gift shop has a variety of gifts and things for the home or cabin as well as some art for sale. The staff is always friendly and helpful. We will definitely keep up our tradition of stopping here!Parking: There is parking all around the restaurant.“
“We just ate here Sunday, November 5th, 2023. We stopped in on our way back from Split Rock to the Twin Cities. Every year we have a dilemma of where to eat and just happened to take the Willow River exit. We found this little gem of a restaurant in the back of the gas station out front. We had the patty melt with coffee. Our waitress was attentive and kind. The price was incredible! It was under $14 for 2 patty melts and 2 coffees. We will definitely stop here next year!“
“We wanted to go bowling but there were birthday parties going on. It looked like everyone was having a blast! Very nice lanes and set up. We decided to eat lunch. I had chicken strips and fries. Amazing! I'm very picky with my chicken strips because I hate the ones that are all breading. These were perfect! Really good barbecue sauce too. French fries were really good. Not greasy at all. My boyfriend had a BLT and fries. He said it was good. He liked the bacon. Only thing that could have been better is the tomato. Kind of hard to do when they're not in season. Service was awesome! “We have dined at Denham Run three times this year. My husband loves the elk burger with fried onions saying, "it is hands down the best burger Ive ever had." Actuelly, he accused me of understating how delicious it is. We have brought family and friends out and all have enjoyed consistantly delicious food. It's a gem hiding in plain sight.
