“The food here is absolutely outstanding. It’s a hidden gem in the area. Best food by far in Aitkin County. I can’t stress enough how good the food is. My husband always gets the meat hammer sandwich. Last night I tried the special which was a sirloin steak and shrimp with au gratin potatoes and mixed veggies. In the fall they had a special Oktoberfest menu which was really fun. I had the cabbage rolls and they tasted like ones I had in Germany. The food is very affordable priced for the quality“
“We only stop after work on Fridays mostly for 3 beers. Had food a couple of times which was great.Mother cooks and daughter tends the bar. Great conversation with local and visiting customers and workers alike.Parking: Parking in front, kind of sketchy getting out of there being it's on a down hill corner. Plenty in the back and easy to get out.“
“Although we arrived before opening for the day, they politely seated us and made us comfortable until they had staff and were technically open.Very hospitable.Our orders were taken, we did some damage to the salad bar, and enjoyed a very nice meal.“

“Google changed alot of peoples hours by default over covid.This place typically opens at 3 and closes at about 10pm weekdays and 1am weekends.I talked to the owner and even helped make a request with google to fix this.Abother case of technology gone wrong and older folks cant keep up with the tech b.s.Whoever left the bad reviews die to this, please complain to google or just stay the F*CK home in the cities where its normal to cry on google.“
