“There was very limited seating and parking here, but the food was very good. I ordered 2 pancakes with bacon, the pancakes were very big and fluffy, and were amazing with jelly. Came with some butter on top which tasted amazing. The service was fast and the waitress was very nice. The prices were pretty reasonable as well. “For our friends anniversary dinner we chose The Classic Grill. It was recommended to us by Tom at the main clubhouse and our experience surely did not disappoint. All of our meals were above and beyond our expectations. Special call out for the creme brulee and the banana cream cheesecake.Another aspect that we all appreciated was the value for our meals. We felt the same experience in the Twin Cities would have been at least 30% higher in price.We plan to go back when we visit again and jokingly even mentioned we'd drive from the Cities for that value and our experience.“
“Loved our lunch today! Stopped in with our friends on our way through town. We really loved their famous Maid Rite sandwiches! OMG they were delicious. And our friends loved their burger and hot beef sandwich. We had seen the rating on yelp and pulled into the parking lot and I thought this could be sketchy. But walked inside and were warmly greeted by our lovely server and made to feel so welcome. The other diners were also super friendly. We got the history of the Maid Rite from another diner. The chef even came out to greet us. Very cool home town experience. Wish I'd had room for the pie!! Next time.“
“Honestly I have not had a better burger in the brainerd area. I try! My fav past time is a great drink and some great food. I feel like my opinion could possibly mean something because lived in Minneapolis for over 10 years and worked at a multi award nominated burger restaurant for like 8 years. I mean it’s cheaper and better than any burger restaurants in brainerd. I love the staff, I love the entertainment. always say this is my favorite bar in brainerd. We did have to remind our waitress multiple times of things we had asked for, like napkins (prior to receiving our meal because a young one at our table spilt her milk, and we had to sit there for some time just waiting) and straws. Not end of the world. But she had to be reminded a few times, and the place wasn’t crazy busy or understaffed by the looks of it. We also had to wait awhile just for our water which seemed odd. Took awhile for our food but it tasted good and was hot.“

One door leads you by the bar with no signage what to do, and the other door apparently had the directions (take a menu and order at the bar), which is not the door we entered. When nobody greeted us or was standing at the bar for a good 10 minutes, we walked to the bar to order but still waited. I'm guessing the employee was on break, which is fine. It was just confusing without a sign or a bell for service.Either way, we ordered the vegetarian pizza, which was sharable size plus the cheesy bread. There was nothing special about the pizza, in our opinion. We each had 2 slices and one slice of the cheesy bread and threw the rest away. Food ordered: Onion rings Macaroni and cheese which is the good old kraft mac n cheese for kiddos. Rigatoni Jambalaya bowl Greek chicken salad with a lot of great vegetables.
