“It's been quite a few year's since I've been to happy's however going back today I'm happy to be able to say thier quality hasn't withered with the passing of time. ? their food was freshly made and cooked to perfection! The B.L.T. was well balanced. ?I would like if they'd opened thier dining area. However that's just a preference of atmosphere not in anyway related to the quality of food. ?“
“It was annoying that we booked a room and they couldn't figure out how to give us the lakefront room. We were even willing to pay for the up charge if that was the case! But it was a pretty nice room. The restaurant food is expensive and just meh“
“Great food and atmosphere very unique dining area and items on the walls. Food was fresh and made from scratch. Everything omelette was huge and fresh. French toast was decent. Fresh blueberries! Service was very friendly and attentive. Price was decent being a small independent. If your on your way up north and pass by this place definitely worth a stop!“
“On a Monday morning the parking lot was empty at the Casino. We went in the main entrance and dutifully followed the signage which said “restaurants” all the way to the south end of the building where we found a closed restaurant. We asked the lonely cleaning person if they served breakfast and she informed us that it was at the other end where we had just come in. So we meandered back through all of the slot machines and found the 1991 Restaurant which was built in 1991 (how clever!). They greeted and seated us promptly at a newly cleaned booth amongst the geriatric day gambler locals. With only two servers and a host, they were moving fast. A coffee and orange juice we’re on the table in the blink of eye. The waitress circled back twice due to our menu inattention. I simply got 3 pancakes. She got an omelette. Both were okay although, well, kinda plain. We enjoyed our time here and the staff was very hardworking.“
“The food was great. As they make (smoke), all there meats onsite. We had a wonderful meal the first night their. Followed by a tasty and filling breakfast the following morning.The shuttle to the casino was a great addition. Front door service. Especially if you have a few cocktails at the onsite bar before venturing out for the evening.Kid-friendliness: We had our grandson with us, and the staff was curtious, friendly, and very accommodating. 5 stars in my book. Visit for a day meal or for a weekend (we stayed 2 nights) Keith at the front desk was a hoot. Mild joking and we can't wait to visit again. Don't forget to have David (shuttle driver) take you to the casino or simply sit for a friendly chat while he waits to shuttle others to and from the casino. Great job all. Thanks for a fun, relaxing, and memorable weekend.Parking: Simply drive up park and walk into a friendly reception staff...Wheelchair accessibility: The ramps are nice and up to date. Easy access to the automatic door button. If the staff doesn't get to it first.“
“Had a great time with my girlfriend playing several Bingo games from some nice people who payed for our Bingo games and payed for our Supper that evening and so we called them our Temporary Neighbors at there table which we almost didn't sit next to them but they insisted to have us at their table too. Anyway food and service were great that evening so would go back again in the future for more great food and Bingo games ?“
