“When my wife and I get to Cloquet to visit my Son and Daughter-in-law, we go there. One of my all time favorite restaurants. It is a busy place, but no waiting. Large portions and great prices as well. You won't regret stopping there. Not open on weekends though.“
“I suggested this place to my buddy Gabe clonkin after having the absolute banger of the meal of burgers and onions along with a shake. This place feels like the backyard of the state of Minnesota. Absolutely iconic.Wheelchair accessibility: Great wheelchair accessible“
“The enviroment at this establishment is fairly welcoming! After meeting with the owners--whom are very respectable-- I would highly recommend coming here to meet with this family owned eatery. The food here is phenomenal especially their chicken and waffles If I had had to rate this food I would give this a 9/10 the flavor combination is delicious and is unique! After tasting the burger and cheese curds I almost went to cloud 9! I would rate the cheese curds a 8.6/10 and the burger a 6/10. If I would rate this place I would have to say 10/10 highly recommend and I would come again!Kid-friendliness: The kiddos are welcomed!“
“What a hidden gem!! Pulled into the parking lot on a Thursday mid afternoon on our way to Giants Ridge. Lots of cars, good sign!! Went to the bar side and started with a Bloody Mary that was delicious with beef stick, olive and pickle. Got the 1/2 rack rib special that was fall off the bone fabulous! Also got the Lois, which was a hot beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and beef gravy, it too was very tasty!! Staff was very friendly!! Will definitely be back when we are up this way again!!“
“Ermagurd! I'm a wild rice soup critic and the server had mentioned the loaded potato soup was delicious too so I ordered both and both blew me away! And to totally mention the Asian sweet chili wings .. I'm a wing critic too they were perfectly crispy and that sauce man! If I can help it..I won't get my soup or wing fix anywhere else but the River Inn.. yummmm dude!“
“We were seated next to a table of like I don't know 20 people or more was very loud and very uncomfortable and the staff just really overlooked our table and did not get us what we needed no refills on our beverages and things like that we felt very “
“My hubby and I stopped by Streetcar. Service was friendly and awesome. We ordered the Nachos. Hands down best nachos I have had. We got the jalepenos on the side (I am a wimp) and no cilantro ( tastes like dish soap to me). They were tasty! The pork and onions and cheese and black beans!! I could have done without the lettuce, but hubby liked it. Salsa and the Sour Cream with chives paired very well. Can't wait to go back to have more!. We have been there in the past and have liked all our food. Great service great food!“
“They aren’t open very often but Byron and Caroline are very friendly. Breakfast is delicious and super good prices! They also have an assortment of homemade jams, honey, and syrup you can by inside they restaurant. Great small town feel and hospitality. The kids love it.“
“This place is. Must stop when in Cloquet, this has got to be one of the coolest old bars around. The Fitgers memorabilia is amazing and the atmosphere of this very nicely restored building is fitting to its era. I have driven by this place so many times over the years, I kick myself now for not stopping sooner. The owners enjoy giving you the history of this amazing building. You have to stop and at least grab a drink if passing through Cloquet, MN. I assure you, you will be glad you did!“
