“I stopped in to Thirsty Pagan Brewing to try a couple of their brews. They had 9 of their beers on including an Amber, American pale ale, dark ale, west coast IPA, cream ale, an orange cream, pineapple pale ale, pilsner, and a Hazy IPA. Pagan has a nice outdoor seating area. The bar area had plenty of space with high ceilings, with lots of the historic feel that you expect in Superior. The service was friendly and fast. Pagan a full bar and a pizza and app menu if you get hungry. The Superior/Duluth area has a ton of brewery options and you should put this one on your list.”

They were happy to accommodate our large group of 10 too.

Parking: A bit of a tight parking lot, especially coming off the main strip of Belknap.

“Shelly and Chelsea, have always been super respectful and also super helpful. They remember guests which is amazing and immediately makes you feel you feel like more then a guest. They are awesome. “We had a family gathering at Eddies tonight. The food and atmosphere were fantastic! Many delicious, made from scratch options were offered using local, fresh ingredients. The blueberry cheesecake we had was sooooo goood! I recommend taking some time to check out many items displaying the history of Eddies hanging throughout the restaurant including their first menu from 1940.”

“I have come here so many times, I feel it's a bit unfair to voice my opinion. I love Culver's! The very few times anything has ever gone wrong with my order, they have made up for it going above and beyond! I've had plenty more great experiences here than bad ones. In fact, I haven't had a bad one. Drive thru can take awhile on most days but those smash burgers, fries and sundaes are worth the wait! I don't know if anyone who reads this has never tried Culver's but if that's you, get in your car and head there now! Get ya a double cheese combo with fries and upgrade your drink to a delicious shake or concrete mixer! You can thank me later!”

“I love Subway! My favorite sandwiches are "The Philly" and the "Sweet Onion Teriyaki". Both are delicious!! And Subway is great for finding more healthy options than fried foods. It's one of my "go to" places for both lunch and dinner.

Dietary restrictions: It's easy here to build a sandwich with only the fresh veggies and sauces (if any) that fit your dietary needs. The meats are not fried and so are much more healthy too.”

“I pass by this location several times a year while traveling between Eau Claire and Walker Minnesota, this ends up being about the halfway point. I always get the double Whopper with cheese, heavy on the onions. The drive-thru staff is always very friendly and efficient and the consistency of my order is always perfect. Excellent job!”

“My husband and I dined here to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. And WOW was everything tasty! We started with the Nueske's Bacon & Bleu Cheese Fries, such a good combination of flavors! I had the Pluma Iberico Pork, very tender and tasty. My husband had the ribeye which was also very tender and had a really good seasoning on it. Garlic chive whipped potatoes? Can’t go wrong there! We ended with the raspberry tiramisu, but there wasn’t a whole lot of room left so we definitely took it home. Sam was our server and he was also great! He made some recommendations when we asked, made sure we had everything we needed, and was sure to wish us a happy anniversary before we left. We will likely be repeat customers!!”

“The best Chicken Caesar Salad I’ve ever had! Period. End of story. (except please keep reading) I’m so happy I got to talk to the mastermind behind this dish (Brandon knows what he is doing!!!), because I wouldn’t normally order this salad. I usually find Caesar salads to be bland and boring. Not this one! Smoked bacon (made in house), croutons (made in house), plus a Caesar dressing that compliments instead of overpowering the salad - yes, again made in house. Then Brandon explained how he makes the chips in house (I won’t try to explain it, because I won’t do it justice), but just know that it is like a chip and a waffle fry had a baby, and these chips are the wonderful, delicious outcome ~ light, but flavorful! A must order!!! The cherry on top was the great service. Cathy was a fabulous bartender and server! She was welcoming from the moment I sat down, and was attentive, without being overbearing. She also made great cocktails! Overall, The Shack was a wonderful experience, and I look forward to coming back on a weekly bases while in town for work. They apparently had a rough go during Covid, but Brandon (& others) have been working tirelessly to improve things, and I’m definitely impressed! I recommend you give them a try as well!”

“We ordered take out and had the Mongolian Beef mild and Happy Couple, very bland, no flavor, rice was crunchy, beef was like rubber and you could not chew it. Gave the beef to our dog. Also had cream cheese wontons. They left out the sweet and sour sauce. About 2 hours after we ate, we had severe stomach pains. Won't order or eat from there again. Very disappointing. We never had any issues when it was China Inn. ☹”

“I thought they had ice cream 😂 they don't. I think combining Baskin Robbins with Dunkin in my town made things confusing. I went to only Dunkin thinking they have ice cream like the other one. They didn't. They probably thought I was a weirdo. Trying to get a shake at a coffee store. Anyways they got a crushed ice coffee with flavor instead, the closest thing they could get to ice cream. She was cool though she made a sale! I would have just left but she threw the offer up and I took it 😂”
