Barker's Waterfront Grille Reviews
My husband and I stay at Barker’s Island Inn every time we visit friends in the area. We have seen positive changes the last few visits. My husband is there now, sadly without me, as he is visiting his oldest friend. The manager and staff have gone above and beyond accommodating his needs while the business center is being remodeled. Thank you so much. We will both see you this summer. Looking forward to the pool area renovations being completed, visiting your lounge, and eating...read full review
The atmosphere was comfortable and relaxing. The food was really good. I loved the view while eating dinner. Super cool that it’s on an island. I wanna try their Friday fish fry soon.
Awesome place!

Barker's Waterfront Grille provides a convenient spot to enjoy a quick beer and burger, located near a hotel and marina. The restaurant offers a variety of food, with some dishes receiving high praise. One customer called the fish "Absolutely Perfect," the best they've ever had, and appreciated the great service and atmosphere. Another reviewer described the food as "chef’s kiss spectacular," especially enjoying the Barker’s Burger, which they loved. The smashed red potatoes were also highlighted as fluffy and delicious.
However, service can be inconsistent. Cookie, a server, handled seating, serving, and bussing tables all alone, doing a great job under pressure. On the other hand, some experiences with drinks and service were slower, with one customer waiting a long time for a refill and joking about bringing a water bottle next time. The food can be hit or miss, with some finding the Easter buffet overpriced and lukewarm, while others have enjoyed their past visits. Despite these ups and downs, many still plan to return, hoping for better service and consistency in the future.
