“My 1st time visiting this location and I was impressed. Clean restaurant, a very friendly and cheerful young lady waited on us and asked if we had any questions about the menu. Our food was brought out quickly and it was delicious. I will order more frequently now.“

“My husband and I stay at Barker’s Island Inn every time we visit friends in the area. We have seen positive changes the last few visits. My husband is there now, sadly without me, as he is visiting his oldest friend. The manager and staff have gone above and beyond accommodating his needs while the business center is being remodeled. “Common team / family destination when we're in Duluth for ski or mountain bike races. The reservation / waitlist maximum of six people can be a little difficult when going here with a team but we make it work and the staff here has always been very accommodating with multiple tables and checks. Sometimes we just order it to-go and eat in our hotel but the food is always excellent.“

“We are from Missouri and while in Duluth we were looking for a delicious local pizza place. Sammies did not disappoint!!! It was absolutely delicious! Fast service, friendly staff and all around exactly what we were looking for!!! 10/10 recommend!!“

“I go there 1 or 2 times a week never had an issue with the speed. Until today. At 1130 I went up and ordered a brownie she gave me my table tent for it and sat down your lunch rush came in and was served there food came out in a timely manner. at 1145 still waiting for the brownie. at 12:00 I finely waved mg table tent which got a mangers attention but he got pulled away and sent someone else else to.see what I needed. it shouldn't take us to flag someone down to get a brownie. you guys where having an off day today I guess“
