Food is very good after a long day of exploring, but it is really expensive. 3 dollars for a drink and 27 for a large pizza. It comes out to the same price as if you ate out somewhere else, but its hard to justify that price tag for pizza. Otherwise, its a solid eat.
Ordered a Hawaiian Pizza, while driving up 61 from Duluth. This was our first pizza from DO North. Walking in I noticed a lit of pizza boxes on top of the oven, each marked with a name. I had arrived a few minutes early, and while I waited at a table I saw a lot of pizzas coming out of the oven and into a to-go box, and it seemed that none of the boxes stayed on top of the oven very long. Have been frequenting Do North for almost 20 years. Recently the quality has shifted south and the price is certainly heading north! $30 for a large pizza. I think they have changed the crust and that's not a good thing. Still plenty of cheese--good cheese, but not worth $30 for a large. I remember when they had the best wings we've ever eaten anywhere, but alas, those days have been gone for a couple years. Used to recommend this place to absolutely everyone. No longer.
