Excellent food. If you are able to sit on the patio then even better. They are trying with the service and it was appreciated. I recommend going back.

Beautiful views and the food was pretty good. But our service was really lacking.
We were sat with menus by a host and then our server didn't approach us for at least 15 minutes. We ordered food and drinks, he didn't write our order down. Food came out after 20 minutes which was good, but then mine was wrong and had to be remade, the next one was missing sauce I asked for but it wasn't worth asking again. We didn't get our drinks until 10+minutes into eating our meal after I asked for them multiple times.
We had a 2 year old with us and I had to find a different server to get us a chair for him because ours was never around. He didn't put the lid all the way on the milk for our son and handed it to him, it immediately spilled everywhere. He handed me napkins to clean it up.
If you wanted your drinks, ketchup, napkins, salt or pepper you had to wait 15 minutes to see your server to ask for them or go find them yourself
The staff were all nice and you could tell they were trying but they seemed overwhelmed, even though there were only like 8 tables between 3 of them.
Expensive prices for a pretty view and not good service

The whole place gave off a luxurious experience. I think the food was a bit over priced for the quality. Staff were kind and helpful. I was a bit disappointed that they only had four outside patio sets for seating.

Great views and nice looking spot. Stopped for a beer and possibly appetizers. Sat for nearly 10 minutes and waitress never acknowledged or presence. Ordered two beers at the bar. Waitress then finally came with menus. We did not order any food. Waitress was clearly irritated and never came back to inquire if we wanted another beer. I had to ask bartender for check which she brought. Then never came back for payment and waitress walked by several times even though I was holding check and payment in hand. This would be a great spot but service needs some work. A simple “Hi, I will be with you shortly” would have gone a long ways.

WOW! I'm hard to impress but this time visiting the restaurant here at Grand Superior Lodge was absolutely the best I can ever remember it. My wife and I have been coming here for about 5 years now, after initially getting engaged on the rocks down from the Lodge. We ordered some drinks then noticed they have whiskey flights, so we asked about it and were told they offer them and we ordered 4 different whiskey/bourbon that we've never heard of before. This was exquisite, the manager himself delivered it to our table and explained the differences of each, what a wonderful experience! Then we ordered a Ceaser salad that we split, delicious. Then came the Burgers!! OMG!! I usually hate burgers but the 'Ope, That's Hot' burger and the '218 CDBC' were absolutely delicious 😋. I cant even begin to describe how my taste buds were exploding with amazingness.

I cant wait to book our return for next year and tell all my friends about this place now. Hands down the best restaurant on the North Shore!

Dont listen to the other reviews about this place, those people are snooty sounding, this place is a banger!

The place is cute on the outside, and on the inside frankly. The views are gorgeoua of the lake and the bathrooms in the hallway of the lodge were clean.
My husband and I visited on a Sunday afternoon. The place was not very busy, not unexpected. He'd been wanting to try it since the companynput up the billboard on northbound 35W.
There were 5 different staff gathered around complaining about being at work. They didn't want to be there, their feet hurt, they are so over this place, is so and so quitting too? There was also a manager appearing man who didn't seem to care about it. The server who decided to make our drinks complained about making one of their signature drinks, a blueberry gin smash, which was supposed to be blueberry lime in flavor. My husband ordered an odyssey old fashioned. I sent back the bbs because it was clearly made with lemon insread of lime, and I didn't want lemonade-it gives me heartburn much of the time. Hubby's oof had so much maple syrup it was difficult to taste anything else.
The food: My husband ordered the special burger of the month with fries for $18. I ordered the turkey sandwich and soup for $21. The burger had more shredded lettuce than burger--honestly couldn't see the burger through the bun on one side and it wasnt because it overhung the other side. The fries were dry and tasted like the grease in the fryer hadn't been changed in some time. My turkey sandwich held cheap deli turkey-the kind that is pressed and slippery- and didn't stick together well. The bread was a good cranberry wild rice loaf. The soup (tomato basil with roasted red pepper) was cold and had no basil influence that either my husband or I could detect.
We skipped dessert because, well the rest was not great and the staff were very disinterested in providing an enjoyable experience to their customers.
We are not afraid to spend money if we go out. These are Twin Cities prices for absolutely not Twin Cities quality. The place is cute. I'd consider staying there for a weekend, but I won't be eating at Lake Superior Burger Co again. Sad because it has great potential.

Great food, beautiful views. This was our first time going here. Lovely views of Lake Superior and the North Shore. Our server, Caleb, was friendly and attentive. We'll definitely stop back in.

One of the best views on the shore, a great patio, with absolutely no patio seating. We watched 3 people (in the hour we were there) walk out because it was 70 degrees and sunny out and there was no patio seating. Unfortunately, we will not be returning (and we vacation less two miles away). We did have a fantastic server so that was a plus.

Totally thought this resturant was its own deal but it is a restaurant within a resort, the food was really expensive for not so good quality, the food was fine, but not $40 for two burgers fine. It is our own fault for not looking more into this place but i was pretty disappointed!
