Busy weekend on the north shore coming down from Split Rock. We stopped at a few places that all had hour wait times. We called 10 minutes before and they had a table waiting for us. Busy but quiet inside where you could hold a conversation without yelling. Outstanding food, additionally with great service.

We stopped for breakfast buffet, had to wait for food because it was mostly gone. People after us were waiting as well. Food was decent for a buffet. Had to ask a couple times if food was going to be put out. But to be fair, it did look like a large party came through before us and wasted a ton of food by the sight of their table.

We had the crusted walleye with fried wild rice. The dinner was excellent. The service was very questionable, being our waitress more or less forgot about us. But had plenty of time to visit in lengths with other tables. My drink showed up after my meal was delivered. Atmosphere: very hard to visit because of all the background noise.

The food was amazing. I had their Lobster Mac N' Cheese, and it was delicious. My husband had their Pasta Arrabiata, and it was better than mine. I would highly recommend that if you go there and it is available. They had some specialty drinks and a full bar. They staff were friendly and welcoming. We had made reservations as we had a party of 8 and got there on time and didn't have to wait. Not a lot of tables, but the restaurants atmosphere was very relaxing and inviting. Once you enter the lodge and go around the front desk, there is a small area with a fireplace that they had someone playing their guitar. We were able to hear that in the restaurant and had a nice ambiance. Would recommend, little pricey but not terrible.

My wife and I just spent our tenth anniversary here and were very excited to have dinner at Ledge Rock. Honestly everything I had was amazing. Our appetizer, my walleye, the drinks and our dessert were all wonderful. Unfortunately my wife ordered the pork chop and it came out burnt to the point where every bite just tasted like charred meat. She was very disappointed. At the end of our dinner we had the crème brûlée which was almost good enough to make her forget about the pork chop. Even with a somewhat disappointing visit, I would very much recommend this restaurant.

Probably one of the best American meals I’ve had. A little on the pricier side (~45 to 50 per person) but well worth it. Walleye is worth the hype and the wild rice bowl is quite good as well.
