I tried the chorizo sweet potato soup and the Swedish meatballs, and they were both heavenly. They also had wine from the Loire Valley, France, a favorite source of wine for me. My server, Chase, was so kind and helpful. I sat by the window and watched hummingbirds flying over the hydrangeas outside. It was a beautiful, peaceful, and delicious meal.
Sadly, in several days of eating out in this area, this was the biggest disappointment. Both in the high price and the low value. One of our hot meals was brought to the table and it was refrigerator cold. Just not the good feelings that we expected for the posted menu prices. Wade staff was very friendly but it shouldn't be their job to apologize for the kitchen. We will try them again, but if the second time is like the first time it will be the last time.
