I don't feel like I would stop here again. The smoked shrimp were something to try but not something I will go get again. There was a variety of smoked fish but nothing called out to me. Not far away Everetts smoked fish at Super One for better prices. Chunk Trout is juicy and amazing. For some reason I thought this was a place to sit down and have something to eat. Stop there to try some smoked shrimp.
We stopped for the ice cream based on other reviews. Super friendly staff and a great value - 4 huge waffle cones for $15. Lots of fun ice cream flavors, too, like lemon bar and churro. Skip the other ice cream joints in town and go to Lou's.
I’ve heard a lot about Lou’s and it was fairly good. I got the smoked shrimp, which are massive!! All they had was sugar cured smoked fish when I stopped in, wish they would have a larger selection of just regular smoked salmon, trout, etc. perhaps they do and it was just sold out that day but I didn’t even see an option for it on the menu at the counter.
