We love this place. Always fresh & delicious. Food that makes you feel good after eating it
These were, and I can not stress this enough, the greatest sandwiches I’ve ever eaten. The salmon sandwich on pumpernickel was perfection. The drink of the day was refreshing and fun. The decor is beautiful and the staff are very sweet. Highly recommend!

We went this great family restaurant and we are so happy to finally find a place that offer gluten free options as our kid is allergic to gluten. The place is great and family friendly.
For sure we will return.

Great sandwiches and bowls and the gluten free chocolate chip cashew and coconut cookies were amazing.
Best roast beef sandwich I’ve had in years. Superb.

Love getting to look up at the floor to ceiling wall to wall map of lake Superior while eating delicious sandwiches with quality ingredients. Conveniently right across from Castle Danger Brewing if you need some eats with your beers.

Loved the turkey apple melt! Paired wonderfully with their house made curry chicken wild rice soup. The food is definitely made with love here. Would love to visit this place again.

Hubby and I stopped today for lunch and honestly I think it was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had! I had the Catch on Rye and he had the turkey apple cheddar melt. Super yummy!

We came here for lunch because of the reviews, and every positive review is merited. We had a great sandwich (perfectly cooked salmon with a great sauce) and clearly homemade tortilla soup with fresh lime, cilantro and avocado. soup. Fabulous lunch.

Stopped for lunch and it was SO GOOD! I had the salmon bowl; the ingredients were fresh, the flavors were perfect together. My husband had the dillicious sandwich and it truly was as advertised! We loved the infused water! The inside was fun and quirky and the service was friendly. Highly recommend!

If you’re in Two Harbors or driving thru and craving something better than fast food, Madeira Bistro is the spot.
My sister and I stopped in for lunch and shared the Hiker Sandwich along with the soup of the day (tortilla soup). Perfect call on a rainy day by the Big Lake.
The Hiker Sandwich was spot on: fresh pumpernickel bread, tender pastrami, and zesty mustard with just the right kick. The tortilla soup delivered exactly what you’d hope for; flavorful broth with beans and corn, topped with crunchy tortilla strips and a little lime wedge for brightness. Comfort food done right.
The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, with a designer’s twist—fun interior decorations and wall art that give the space personality. While we were there, a few locals came in for lunch, which is always a good sign. Service is counter-style, you order up front and they bring your meal out to you.
For anyone passing through Two Harbors, this spot is a no-brainer. Skip the drive-thru and treat yourself to a meal that tastes homemade. And when you’re done, pop across the street to Castle Danger Brewery where you can even order your bistro meal to go and enjoy it with a pint. You betcha!

Really yummy food! Great special selection. I got the chicken salad sandwich and the bread was really soft and the sandwich had a real good crunch, definitely high on the list of sandwiches I've had. The lemonade was flavorful and not horribly sweet. Lady at the counter was super sweet and the seating selection is good.

This was such a cute place to stop in two harbors. The great reviews are clearly earned, but my friend and I were still pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food here. We stopped in for a quick lunch, I got the Italian veggie wrap and my friend, a long time turkey sandwich connoisseur, got the “Northern dillight.” She proclaimed it to be the “best turkey sandwich of my life”, which I think speaks for itself. My food was good too, and the chocolate chip cookies were thoroughly enjoyed, and the hibiscus tea lemonade. Kind, quick service, stop in for sure if you have time.
*They have a note on their menu about being VERY nut forward and that people with severe nut allergies are not recommended to eat here. However, I have severe nut allergies and I did not have any issues, so I would say just clarify your needs with the staff and they seem happy to accommodate!
