I had the Ruben on cranberry wild rice bread. They don’t use sliced meat! My first Ruben with a “cheese pull”. I’ve been missing out. Service was friendly and pretty fast.

The food was exceptional! I had a Brie burger and it was one of the best burgers I’ve ever ordered. Service was very good. Owner (I believe) greeted us and he was friendly and sincerely wanted us to enjoy or lunch. We ordered pie to go and were not disappointed. I highly recommend and hope to get back this way again for another stop.

We got 6 different slices of pie to try and they were all delicious. The Blueberry cream has a meringue crust which I have never seen before! My kiddos loved the North Shore Berry pie, and the raspberry rhubarb the best. We also ordered the Walleye Meatballs, which were AMAZING! Service was great, and I adored walking through the gift shop and perusing. We will definitely be back!

The food is a little different but was still good. The service was slow and there was only a few people in there. The cafe is beautiful and views are amazing

Great time had by our party, the restaurant was very accommodating for the Lighthouse anniversary, taking tables being seated as late as their closing time. Food was top, staff welcoming,
My only complaint is the pie-i had the apple caramel crumble. Apple wasn't cooked enough for my taste.

Waitress Allison was pleasant and knowledgeable about all the items on the menu. Was able to accommodate my wife's GF needs readily. I had the smoked salmon sandwich and it was very good . Pie is a must have at the rustic the north shore mixed berry crumble was delicious.

Known for great pies. But their breakfast is terrific, too!

I don't know what to really say. We just left after a few minutes of being seated. The host sat the wife in the same room where everyone one else was. The waitress asked the host to have us moved to another room which was empty. The reason we were told we were moved was because they only had 3 waitresses working. We were placed at the furthest table next to the window. However as more people came in, everyone else was being placed in the room we were removed from. Basically we were segregated.

I really enjoy this place. When visiting duluth it is completely worth the drive to eat and enjoy the pie. I honestly think their pie is better than Betty's pies.
