This place is the best. Food was amazing and service was great. Coffee tastes good and is always being filled. We got the wild rice porridge and Swedish pancakes and both were excellent. Highly recommend for breakfast.

I had breakfast here two days in a row. The first day the breakfast was really good. The second time I ordered an omelette they are oven baked but mine came out very brown on the bottom and it did not taste good at all. The cheese is not mixed in with the egg, a slice is put on top I had to scrape off the cheese cuz it tasted awful. I did not finish the Omelette and that never happens with me I usually clean my plate. I would never order that again! Three others at my table ordered the same thing and nobody finished theirs. You only get one piece of toast with their breakfast. Every place else I've ever been in my entire life serves two pieces of toast.

I was doubtful about finding a good breakfast in this small town, but Vanilla Bean exceeded my expectations with its superbly delicious breakfast and unique menu options. I'll be making it a regular stop whenever I’m in the area.
This was such a good meal! I got the wild rice porridge, it was delicious and unique, and also super aesthetically pleasing. My boyfriend got the castle danger hash which he loved, i tried a bite and the corned beef was cooked perfectly, it was very good. We also got cocktails which were surprisingly strong. The service was friendly and helpful as well. I can't get over how cheap this meal was for how good everything tasted! I will be stopping here on my way up to Grand Marais for now on.
very tasty breakfast. Eggs Benedict are incredibly delicious. we waited for about 10 ha. To be seated, it's good that there is a souvenir shop nearby. they immediately offered and brought drinks. breakfast was so delicious that I didn't even have time to take a photo!? they brought incredible jam, so we asked for extra toast because it's made from fresh berries, like freshly made, not chemical from the store. it's a pity that there are no extra napkins on the table.

Everything was very delicious, the only thing that I’d recommend to add is French toasts because their jam was soooo delicious that I have to order one more portion of toasts and jam ?I think French toasts would be perfect with this jam. Thanks for great food in the beginning of the day!!!!!
