“I had a double cheeseburger and fries. The burgers were cooked to within an inch of their lives, and the fries were also overcooked.

I waited for more than $20 minutes before the primary barkeep would even address me. In the meantime, another individual served me a drink. I don't know whether he was a paid barkeep or not, but my drink was served professionally.

I also ordered a pizza to go, (half-baked or so), which I may review later.

My bill was only as much as it was because I had the two meals and two shots of Bailey's.

That said, it's not like the female barkeep just flat ignored me, (even if that's how it felt). She was admittedly extremely busy with prior customers.

When I finally had a chance to interact with her, she was certainly charming and friendly, and even took my criticism of the length of time I waited in stride, noting that she can't be in two places at once.

The bar could have benefitted by having a second person on staff, as it was a busy hour of the day. A lot of local residents consider this place home, and there were several in the bar at that time.”

“Simply wonderful. We had given the Roadhouse in Wabasso a couple weeks notice of a large get together, but they unexpectedly closed for the day without calling us. We ended up descending on Knotts--close to 20 people--and they couldn't have been better. Only one cook and one up front, but surprisingly fast and all was good. Can't thank them enough.”
