“Definitely a must stop place for food if you're in Glenwood or on Lake Minnewaska! The food and service was great! I tried their shore lunch special walleye and it was wonderful. A great view of the lake with wide open windows or sit on the patio.”

“Food was good as always but there is one issue. We called in earlier this week about getting reservations for tonight and were told twice that you weren't doing reservations this year and it was first come first serve. So we showed up and found out there were reservations. I don't know what the case was on that but should probably make sure host/hostess know that information.”

“Logan was a helpful cashier and made some meal adjustment recommendations that were delicious (i.e. subbing cheddar cheese on a butter burger). Bathrooms are nice and clean (and decorated festive for holidays). It was absolutely jam-packed and there was nowhere to sit or stand.”

“family members and close friends of the bar owner recieve special privileges regardless of their behavior toward other patrons. Fighting, threatening to kill someone or shoot another person is completely unacceptable and should not be tolerated. That person or persons should have had to leave the bar. The bar owner is rarely at the bar, doesn't help out when her staff is struggling and does not handle situations appropriately. This is just bad for business.”

“A full size cake at a celebration of life event was beautiful and tasty. I asked where it was from, the Alexandria Wal-Mart Bakery! Amazed at the quality. She said they ordered and paid on line, so a friend in town picked it up and brought it out to the event center.”

“Stopped for a quick lunch & it was on point. Me and the lady walked in and sat down. Food was ready in 5 minuets , everything was delicious & the bathrooms were clean.

Parking: The parking lot is just a little weird we had to wait to leave as the line for the drive thru was blocking is in.”

“We always choose this location over the other 5 Subways in town because of the management. Every single time I have placed an order it is fresh and ready the moment I arrive. They have never made a mistake on any of my complicated orders and always seem to be cheerful and go above and beyond. I have been to the other Subways in town and it is not the same. Last night I was into this location and the gentleman manager was cheering on his staff and helping the new people learn how to read the tickets to make everyones orders. There is something unique and special about this location and it is the management. It shows in the way the employees act, the way the food comes out and the smiles you see when you are there. Hats off to this manager. They need to give him a raise and help him train the other local store managers on how to be more like him and run a great ship. We will keep frequenting this location :)”

“Penny's Diner is supposed to be a 24/7 restaurant open to the public according to it's advertising. Lately Penny's Diner in Glenwood MN has been turning customers away after 9 PM. I don't believe this is a very good business practice and has lost Penny's diner 3 customers and probably more that have not left reviews. This used to be a good place for good food late at night.”
