Stopped in for lunch as we went through Virgina and had the stuffed mushrooms. They were one of the most delicious and filling stuffed mushroom I have had! Stop in and try them out.

They get you coming and going. They offer you a special deal each day, but if you don't take the shrimp (The Sunday kabob and shrimp) you get charged full menu price for the kabob. As much as I love their kabobs I won't be going back on Sundays. This is ridiculous. Also their prices are $20 to $30 on average. By the way, the only store that gets the kabobs right Is the one in Virginia, Minnesota. The rest of them don't know how to do it.

Food is off the charts good. We visit this Grandma’s once a year on a golf vacation and this is always a part of our trip.

On our way further north we stopped in the town of Virginia, MN. Looking for a local restaurant, we decided on Grandma's Saloon. Nice family restaurant. A very extensive menu with soup (fabulous!), salads, sandwiches and lovely entrees. We share one bowl of the chicken and wild rice soup. It was hearty, delicious and filling! We also shared a double patty burger with cheddar cheese, pickles and onion rings. Really delicious! Loved the bun! Our waitress was very nice. Glad we stopped here. It was worth it for sure!

Friendly service. Very accommodating of our dietary restrictions, even creating a variation of a menu item. Food was fresh and very good. The decor is dated, but we didn't really care about that.

They are over charging. It’s not like you’re looking at the lift bridge in Duluth at this place.

They have added $10 to all their prices at a minimum.
Unfortunately the quality of the food has not increased with the prices. My cranberry Turkey club sandwich was so greasy I couldn't eat it.
The waitress was lovely and handled that very well, so not her fault. But it's unlikely we will return after being fairly frequent customers since they opened. Skip it, go to Boomtown or Sawmill instead.

Food was good, hot and quick. Waitress was nice and attentive. The wild rice burger was delicious. We sat on a wall with the kitchen and it was very loud. The place was dark, could have been lighter.
Vegetarian options: Loved the wild rice burger.

Food are very expensive and greasy. 2 dishes out of 3 are not worth the price in my opinion, but the service was good.
