I haven't been here to eat in years. The food was so reasonable and hand made patties instead of frozen makes a difference. Need to keep this place in line.

FUN! This was our first visit. We highly recommend and we will return. Staff and regulars where friendly and fun to talk to. If you didn't want to be bothered they would have left you alone.

Fantastic service , food and prices! Great atmosphere to relax and enjoy yourself! Definitely recommend!
Formerly the "Silverado Saloon" (going by one of the signs outside, anyways), Shack is like a refined slice of small-town MN bar. The building feels like a time capsule (I would bet there have been no major renovations since the '80s) and the staff seem to know just about everyone by name as they walk in the door. Restrooms were a bit scary - the floor flexes a bit as you walk over it and the quarters are cramped to be sure. Drinks looked like they were being poured strong! Burgers were absolutely great - apparently Saturday is "Burger Day" and we never quite got an explanation on how that worked. Staff was friendly and the clientele is.. colorful, to say the least. Stop in if you're passing through and want a great burger!

My favorite stop at the end of the day. The best bartenders on the Range.

Haven't been here in about 15 years. It used to be called something that included the word "Silver." Does anyone remember? The food was always good, the drinks were always strong, and the service was generally pretty quick.
The Shack is a local country bar with basic food and drink. With the surrounding rural areas several miles apart it's not unusual to run into someone you know within avg of 50-75 mile radius. Place is closed on Mondays and the kitchen was closed on Sundays. Think they're looking for another cook to cover.
Would love to review the place, but we drove all the way out here to find out it’s closed on Mondays. Update your Google listing!
Great spot, good food.
Food is always good, the staff is very friendly, the other customers are friendly and welcoming stop by for a Tap beer and a burger basket.
