FUN! This was our first visit. We highly recommend and we will return. Staff and regulars where friendly and fun to talk to. If you didn't want to be bothered they would have left you alone.
Formerly the "Silverado Saloon" (going by one of the signs outside, anyways), Shack is like a refined slice of small-town MN bar. The building feels like a time capsule (I would bet there have been no major renovations since the '80s) and the staff seem to know just about everyone by name as they walk in the door. Restrooms were a bit scary - the floor flexes a bit as you walk over it and the quarters are cramped to be sure. Drinks looked like they were being poured...
Haven't been here in about 15 years. It used to be called something that included the word "Silver." Does anyone remember?The food was always good, the drinks were always strong, and the service was generally pretty quick.
