“Visited on April 5th. Both Hazy IPA and the Russian Imperial Stout were spectacular. Loved the discussion in the bar about paranormal activities over at the Anderson House. If Cheers was real, this is the place. Highly recommended!”

“I didn’t catch her name but the server was PHENOMENAL! My partner and I were having a hard time eating after feeding my son because it’s a bar so obviously no high chairs but she came right up and offered to take my son on a tour through the building and he adored her just as much as we did! The cook does a fantastic job and will definitely recommend the onion rings.”

“Okay, I’ll admit I’m a little biased because I used to work here—but honestly, I’d work here again in a heartbeat. The food is great, the staff is super friendly, and the whole place is always clean and well-kept. Just remember to bring a little patience—things can get hectic during peak times, but the team really does their best. Highly recommend checking it out! ❤️”

“We are new to town and tried the Sunday breakfast buffet! The food was amazing but the hospitality was definitely better! You could tell nothing was frozen and fresh ingredients were used. The staff was so welcoming and nice including the hostesses and the chef! Perfect welcome into town!! Thank you guys we will definitely be back!”

“Our waitress Ashley was outstanding. Our meals were outstanding. Food was out at a reasonable rate. Overall cost of the meals were great while dinner came with two huge walleye fillets bloody Marys were good. Definitely a five-star restaurant. We will come back again if we get in the area.”

“Well the silver star is our favorite place to. Drive 14 miles to get there. We went there last night. Most of the good burgers are gone, chips and salsa are right out of a bag now. Burger buns changed to store type buns. Fries changed also. Not as good. Waiter was very nice. I asked what happened to the John Wayne burger he said it is gone. I asked if the had the John Wayne sauce. He said they did not. Kind of disappointed but when our burgers came he said he whipped me up a batch of John Wayne sauce. Still a nice place to go but the food is not the same. Too bad as I raved about this place to all. Had 3 star picked out but gave them a four star for service. Bring back the John Wayne burger guys.”

“Hosted my in-laws 50th wedding anniversary at the Stone Barn. Matt & Marcy were easy to work with and their staff did a great job being attentive to us. The pizza is delicious and the drink variety is good as well. Highly recommend going to dinner out there or hosting an event!”

“The breakfast was great the service not so much after the waitress brought me my breakfast she didn’t come back to see how it was or if I needed a coffee refill and then when I went to pay I stood at the register 5 minutes while one waitress was leaning over the counter on her cell phone and the waitress I had was in the back and finally noticed me through the window and came out I could see waiting if it was busy but there was only one guy at the counter and two other guys at a table”

“Worth every mile, so the TV commercials say and it's true! The ribs are tender, smoky, lean and overall delicious. The sweet, rich BBQ sauce is a perfect partner, so good. Mustard sauce is also available for those who prefer it. The baked beans are very good and coleslaw, cold, crisp with a tangy creamy dressing, two sides that deserve mention alongside the ribs. You order and pay at the counter inside the entrance and within minutes of sitting down the food arrives, piping hot. Self seating is available across multiple dining rooms, the bar and offer booths, small and large, clean tables. Staff regularly check with patrons to ensure all needs are met. This is a no-frills restaurant with plenty of character and great service, worth the trip.”
