The Lost Dutchman Reviews
Wonderful restaurant and the people who work there are amazing and kind
We are new to town and tried the Sunday breakfast buffet! The food was amazing but the hospitality was definitely better! You could tell nothing was frozen and fresh ingredients were used. The staff was so welcoming and nice including the hostesses and the chef! Perfect welcome into town!! Thank you guys we will definitely be back!
My wife and I have a wonderful experience on their mother’s and father’s day buffet. Plentiful meat options, savory sides, omelette bar, and home made artisan desserts. Definitely recommend. The bar also has fun themed party nights periodically through the year.

The Lost Dutchman is a gem for pizza lovers, offering high-quality pizzas with flavorful sauce and a fantastic recipe. The thin crust and high-quality ingredients make it stand out from other places. The prices are fair, and the staff is very friendly, making the experience even better. While waiting for your pizza, make sure to try the "Old Fashioned" drink.
The restaurant also features a cozy basement bar that looks like the underbelly of a pirate ship, creating a fun and unique atmosphere. The cocktails are fresh and delicious, adding to the overall experience. Many guests enjoy the friendly staff and the tasty food, with some recommending staying at the nearby hotel to enjoy all the offerings.
The hotel, housed in a 167-year-old building, offers a living time capsule experience with its historic charm. While there are no modern amenities like elevators, exploring the creaky floors and individually decorated rooms adds to the adventure. The staff is helpful and pleasant, quickly resolving any minor issues. The addition of a sauna room enhances the amenities, making the stay even more enjoyable.
Guests also appreciate the lively atmosphere, such as participating in fun activities like Y2K trivia. The service is often highlighted as friendly and excellent, with servers like Betsy being memorable. The food, including dishes like chicken Alfredo and shareable pizzas, consistently receives high praise. Overall, The Lost Dutchman provides a unique blend of history, comfort, and delicious food, making it a highly recommended destination.
