We’ve been to Iron Tap a few times and it never disappoints! Today we went to celebrate my son’s heavenly 3rd birthday. Initially we were okay and my daughter seemed fine but within a few minutes she decided she didn’t want to be there… the owner (or really awesome and amazing bartender) came to our rescue and offered us dinosaurs and another area to sit so my 1.5 year old could move and not bug anyone. She didn’t know us or our situation, just saw an overstimulated...

Iron Tap and the connected bakery are in downtown Waconia, with newly expanded street parking. It's a great place for lunch and dinner. It's much larger than it looks! The food was excellent and the service was great. Kid friendly.

We went at the height of dinner and ended up sitting at the bar, we sat right away - no wait there! I had a Cobb Salad which was fantastic. It took a little bit to be served but these people were busy! No one was standing around, no dilly-dallying for this staff. I was impressed. They were great! Fun little place!

Parking: Got a spot on the street half a block up!
