My husband and I and two of our friends came to Sovereign Estate to enjoy the Valentine's dinner. It was fantastic! Five wonderful food courses paired with five really good wines. It totally exceeded our expectations. Everyone was friendly and seemed happy to have us. The chef even accommodated a gluten-free request with wonderful alternatives. We can't wait to come back for more fun events!
We just returned from the Valentine special small plates and wine pairing experience. Wonderful! Chef Michael is so creative, the tastings were visually appealing, and tasted wonderful! Each wine was paired excellently with each course. I know the weather was bad Friday night but am hoping many people were able to take advantage of this experience this weekend! We’re hoping to see more opportunities like this in the future!
We went to their Winter festivities. It is not kid friendly. BUYERS BEWARE! overpriced does not express what you ll experience. The place is beautiful but cold Cabannas and a drink that's 20$ and your kids suck you in to spending all your money because there's simply not enough to do. Owner/operator very nice but $$$$ matters.
Beautiful atmosphere with lots to do and see. Highly recommend for large groups, dates and the family.
Our first round was 24.00 buy one get one free....then we decided to buy a bottle, which we thought was 23.00...and confirmed by employee and proceeded to check out and charged us 31.04. We then questioned the employee and did not make things right by either giving us the 23.00.cost or the buy one get one free...hmmm ?
Beautiful local winery with helpful staff. They have lovely areas to sit and enjoy a glass. We bought several bottles to enjoy with friends
There is a one hour standing line for chili.
This is one of my favorite wineries in Waconia, the scenery was beautiful and Jennifer's voice was on beautiful harmony! The sunset was beautiful also!
Great place. Very welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. If they had more covered or indoor seating along with more non- alcoholic options for the designated drivers in the party it would be perfect.
A beautiful location with great wine and food!

If you have not been to Soverign Estates, you have to go. It might be a little out of the way, but it is worth it. I recommend a visit more toward sunset. They
have excellent wines and a small menu, but the charm of the patio and surrounding area is unmatched. You will not be disappointed.
We went here on a Friday night for live music. The winery was very nice as well as the wine. The pizza was basically a kid size for $16, absolutely wouldn't recommend getting food there. There are plenty of good food options around lake Waconia.
We were in town for a funeral. Found this place was having a BeeGees Tribute Show. What an absolutely terrific night. Bought a couple of tickets for the Open Patio area. Although we were not inside the tent, we had a nice view and the sound was very good.
The entire grounds were well maintained. Took a stroll through the vineyards which are very picturesque. Got beverages and some food items before the show, Popcorn and Cheese/Meat box.
Plenty of space to enjoy the concert. There several bars had good service, and the bathrooms nearby.
My main suggestion. Upgrade the Cheese/Meat Box to a real charcuterie option. Crackers, cheese spread, nuts etc, would have been a better choice.
