El Loro Mexican Restaurant

will never recommend this place to eat it used to be good my drink smelled like they took it straight out the toilet and we waited over an hour for our food other guests came in ate and left and we still didn't get our food no no never again

After moving up here from Texas, I really hoped that I could find some decent Mexican food, so I tried El Loro. Big mistake. I knew I was never coming back after they brought out mayonnaise with their tortilla chips.

FABULOUS FOOD! WONDERFUL STAFF!!! Successfully embarrassed our 13 year old when they came out singing with a Sombrero & fried ice cream!!!

Com. When I showed the waitress the voucher on my phone she said it had to be printed. Next time I went with the voucher for a to go order they said it had to be only for sit down. I also I had a gift card that they said was no longer valid even though I had the receipt that said it still had about $7 in it left. Left me frustrated expecting a discount on my meal but the rules kept changing on me even tho those restrictions are not seen on the voucher. The food was OK for the price.

Do not go here. Not only do they not get orders right they come soggy and gross. The shredded beef I was to get was just ground beef and not soft tacos as requested. The refried beans are not what you expect either. Not to mention the fish tacos provided were undercooked. Not sure if they got a new cook or owners but this is not same place I use to go to. Their service is also bad they are not friendly when you walk in it’s like it’s a burden to them. Avoid this place and go to Anjos if you want real authentic Mexican cuisine.

Overall this place was just ok. Probably the worst salsa I’ve ever had at a Mexican restaurant. The ranch they served with the chips was the best thing we had the whole time we were there and that was free. My meal was underseasoned. The chicken and beef burritos were not that good. My husband’s burrito he ordered was way over seasoned. I tried his and wanted to spit it out, it was that bad. The service was overall ok but could’ve been better.

called in an order lady sounded angry and busy, and I barely got what I wanted out before she hung up on me, no name for order nothing. My order was wrong. A side note they do corn Tortilla chips so if you don't like corn Tortillas your screwed. The fajita mix tasted frozen pre made nothing special. the restaurant was completely empty but employees sitting at the bar drinking. prices weren't bad but for taste I could have gone to Walmart. I'd avoid this restaurant it's cold, empty and staff just don't care.

It was close! Saturday night at 8:45 pm was Close! So not very good timing. I arrived and it was closed. It says it closes at 11pm. So I went for nothing.
