“As I was traveling late I arrived after the kitchen had closed. The owner offered me part of a meal she was having and to make a nice salad. The chicken was great. Dewey behind the bar made a great recommendation for a Mango infused tap beer. Delicious! They are great ambassadors for the Red Wing hospitality community. It was so nice to be treated as a regular. I will be back to sample both the food and Dewey’s recommendations. Thank you.“

“The Sunday special pork loin sandwich was embarrassing. It's a thin frozen breaded piece of low-grade pork. It should not be called a Sunday special and it should not be called a pork loin. It should not be offered. But our friendly server took it off the bill because we didn't eat it. The rest was good--what you expect of a legion.“

“The atmosphere here is awesome and when they have live music it’s a great venue. Sitting around the boat and drinking a cocktail or two or an ice cold beer. Service is always great even with limited help these days. The food is excellent and comes from the restaurant next door. Excellent and fun and always entertaining at the Boathouse Bar!!“
