I've come to believe that if you're not ordering beer at Benson's then they just ignore you. Twice now I've come in with my young children and been seated in the corner and then largely ignored. Once, a fluke perhaps. Twice, not so much.
This last week when we came in we ordered food and drinks right away because our children were hungry after a long day of driving up to the lake. After 15 minutes I see nearby tables that ordered at the same time get their food. A while later we finally see our waitress again and get refills on our sodas. Tables with beers are getting a lot of attention... After 30 minutes with my children complaining about how hungry they are I have to get up and track our waitress down to ask where our food is. The kitchen LOST THE TICKET. No one came to tell us this when they figured it out. No one came to apologize. No, I had to get up and go track down the waitress to find out.
We had our sodas comped. But, even then it took forever to get the bill and pay it. My wife and children walked all the way down to Super1 and started grocery shopping while I waited for a pizza box, the bill, and to be able to sign it. Just ridiculous.

Ordered two XL pizzas and they were honestly not good. The crust was so flavorless and disappointing. The cheese had some browning on top, but the bottom of the crust was not browned/cooked enough and not crispy. I honestly just don't think they should be offering this size, because I don't think it looked nearly as good as the food pictured in reviews. The garbage pizza had lots of toppings which was appreciated, but the 2 topping was abysmal. I've had better frozen pizzas. Nothing at all seemed seasoned. Salt in the dough, herbs in the sauce, homemade sausage, anything would have gone a long way in adding value. $50 for two pizzas that had zero love was disappointing.
