The location is great, close to town and the lake, which is what you're paying for. However, our room needed maintenance and the staff could be better. Our room had the potential to be great, yet was dusty, the kitchen sink was full of hard water spots which we left cleaner than when we came, a couple cobwebs in the room/bathroom, the bathroom door handle sticks so it's hard to get out which would be a hazard for kids along with the storage room in the bathroom being...
New owners! I read the previous reviews before coming to Chase on the Lake, and a lot of them are negative. But the good news is there are new owners! There were a few times during our stay that you could tell things were in transition and I’m really hopeful things will continue to improve. That being said, this is a 100 year old historic lake front lodge. If you are so needy that you are going to complain about this place not being like a big name chain hotel, then you should...
