We ate at The Lodge tonight with friends. Had a great meal! Reuben, walleye sandwich, Paul Bunyan burger and brat burger. Everything was delicious! Would highly recommend.

We stopped in and had the patio to our selves on a lovely Friday afternoon. Service was great! We had 5.00 appetizers and 5.00 beers. Food was great! Waitress was awesome and smiling! We plan to be back!

we went for lunch on a quiet Sunday afternoon and the food was delicious...homemade chips, delicious Ruben sandwich, and the server came over and offered us complimentary fresh baked cookies that were amazing. I definitely recommend The Lodge when up in the Leech Lake area!!

We were there yesterday for the 1st time since they reopened in January 2025. My husband had an excellent steak. I had the margarita pizza, which was also so good! They make much of their food from scratch! The menu has many options, the ambiance is great, staff are super friendly. Give it a try!!

This place is horrible. 12 patrons in the place with 3 people working and can’t get service, out of fries, tots, shrimp, blue cheese, coors light on and on. This isn’t a “finding good employee” problem like everyone likes to blame, this is an Ownership/Management problem. You lost 6 locals who like spending there $ at local business. Unfortunately this will be another shuttered business.

I'm not sure about this waitress. I don't think this is her line of work. We were there Thursday November 14th, we were there in the evening, and we all ordered salad and we waited and waited and waited for the salad and then we didn't get it until our food came out with it. My husband was trying to flag her down to get something from her, and she looked at him and said, "Hold on a second, I'm busy, there was three tables in there." She just did not like her job. She was not friendly she didn't even hardly acknowledge us, not a great conversationalist at all. And then the food that came out, and my husband and I split the fish platter with sunfish I believe perch and then a walleye Patty, broccoli and mashed potatoes and gravy but we had to pay extra for a salad $6 the salad should have came with it. So our meal was almost $30 but the fish that came out on the plate was so small there was nothing to it, it was the size of the palm of my hand both pieces, unfortunately I left hungry!

Very nice facility, and the food is good as well. The prices are a bit out of line - the walleye fingers basket is $17. When I ordered, the waiter asked what side I'd like so I went with fries. When I got the bill, I was surprised to see the fries were an additional $4 (as an upcharged side). I would have preferred to know that when I ordered instead of when I got the bill. $21 is way too high for 4 chunks of fish and some fries. We do want this place to succeed as it's close by, but hopefully they can adjust prices and increase traffic. The food and service are good, so there's no need to overcharge regular customers.

Well we decided to try this restaurant. We did read a few reviews that had us second guessing if we should. But, the food was excellent! The waitress was phenomenal! Had great advice on food choices and was very friendly. We had the cheeseburger, mushroom Swiss burger and the buffalo chicken wrap. All were excellent! We got tater tots for our sides. OMG, those were perfectly crispy and slightly seasoned. So, yeah we will be back!

Food was poorly prepared and overpriced. Fries cooked in old grease. Shrimp as well plus dried out. Place is clean and service decent but I wouldn’t eat there again.
