The food all tasted like the oil needed to be changed. Most things came out looking and tasting like it came out of a can.

Pizza is good but service has been very sub-par. Each time we come in with our children they put us in the corner and promptly forget about us. It was getting a bit late for our kids so as soon as our server came over we ordered drinks and food at the same time. Half an hour later we find out they lost our ticket and we watched all the other tables around us get their food and eat while my children were complaining about starving. They did comp our sodas, but it again took forever to get our bill. I sat there waiting long enough for my wife and children to walk all the way over to Super 1 and start grocery shopping before I could pay the bill. Very disappointed.

Stopped in on a stroll through Walker. Sat at the bar which is relatively small. Took the bartender at least 10 mins to acknowledge us. She seemed as if she had no clue what she was doing. We ordered chips and salsa to come out before our food, took 15 mins to get them. Most of the chips were like leather, not crunchy. We ordered the shrimp tacos and birria tacos. Shrimp tacos were terrible, with two pieces of shrimp on top and the rest of the taco shell was packed with lettuce. I only ate the shrimp off the top. My husband’s Birria tacos were flavorless and had nothing on them and nothing to go with them. The sauce was sweet with no spice. To top it all off our bartender just stood around talked to some friends. Never offered to get us a new drink, checked on how our food was, or even offered us napkins. We had to steal some from the guy who got a caddy next to us. Disappointed to say the least. Won’t be back.

We stopped in Sunday to try their limited availability brunch and it was SO GOOD! We had a chorizo breakfast burrito with green chili and queso, and huevos rancheros with beef, and all the hot sauces!! I hope they can get this brunch going regularly, because we would make it a regular treat. Awesome food and service!!

First of all, Happy you were open on Sunday afternoon. Our food; fish Sandwich and Chicken Chimichanga were delish and generous. Mallory is an exceptional server.
But, for the love of all things. PLEASE replace the flooring and put a little money into your building. We nearly walked out immediately because of the grime. 🫩

Food was ok....but when you look around at how dirty the place is it makes you wonder about the kitchen and the food! The carpet in the place is just disgusting! Pure embedded dirt and food. And when people open the door to get in it just stays open as the door closer is just hanging there and the flys just come rolling in!Gross

Great spot for a simple meal & drink anytime. Wait staff was efficient and friendly. Food was very good.

I recently dined at The Watershed and wanted to share my experience with the Mexican Charcuterie board. Unfortunately, it was very disappointing. First, the shrimp in the ceviche was not deveined and had a rubbery texture, which was quite unpleasant. The mangos tasted off, leaving my tongue tingling, despite having no noticeable seasoning. The elote was the biggest disappointment. It lacked any real flavor—just the creaminess without the punch of traditional ingredients like mayonnaise, lime, hot sauce, and chile powder (Tajin). As someone from Little Rock, Arkansas, where there's a vibrant Latino community, I regularly enjoy authentic Mexican cuisine at family gatherings. It’s quite disrespectful to see so little effort put into creating such a beautiful and flavorful cuisine. I recommend sourcing fresher produce and using traditional recipes to elevate these dishes. I truly hope The Watershed can enhance their menu for a better dining experience.

finally a local taco spot with an ambitious owner

Had the steak bites but they had no flavor and chewy. I usually don't post but my food wasn't eatable. My wife had a taco salad and she ate what she could. I hope it was an off night.

Food took a long time. People waked out while I was here. Not clean.

We sat at the bar, the bartender was attentive and the food came out quickly. The nachos came with a lot of under seasoned meat, semi melted cheese, raw onion, diced tomatoes and black olives. There was a small amount of sour cream. They were very dry and sad.

Please serve some salsa, guacamole and/or beans with the nachos: humanity will be better for it.

The servers were friendly but not overly attentive. Even though it didn't appear to be busy we waited a really long time for our food. The taco salad that was ordered should've come with beans and sour cream. It had neither. Just some meat in a stale tortilla bowl on a mountain of dry lettuce. It was mediocre. No options for kids.

Google still lists The Watershed as a comfort food spot with burgers and lobster rolls, but under new ownership it now serves Mexican food — first surprise of the night. Although only two other tables were occupied on the patio and the indoor dining room was basically empty, we sat through 40-minute waits, a missing entrée, and a mandatory 20 % “large-party” surcharge even after staff split us across three tables they claimed couldn’t be pushed together.

What went wrong:
1. Misleading menu – Online profile shows lobster rolls, crab cakes, burgers, and more; the on-site menu is Mexican.
2. Separated seating – Staff insisted patio tables couldn’t be moved, so our group was spread across three separate tables.
3. Long ticket times – 40 minutes from appetizer to entrées despite a nearly empty restaurant.
4. Wrong side, no replacement – Father’s dish arrived with chips instead of fries. The server removed his plate, served it to someone else, then came back later and said the kitchen had run out of the entrée.
5. No substitute, no drink – He reordered a different meal (never arrived) and even a simple shot of tequila (also never arrived).
6. Automatic 20% fee – Large-party charge applied even though we were split up. When we asked to waive it after all the issues, the lead waitress/manager grew defensive and said it was “policy” on a “busy Friday night.”

What was good:
Chips, salsa, appetizers, and the entrées that did arrive were genuinely tasty.

Bottom line:
We bypassed a higher-rated restaurant two blocks away to support another local spot and left hungry, frustrated, and up-charged. Until management updates their online listing, allows reasonable seating for groups, and rethinks that automatic fee, I can’t recommend The Watershed — especially for larger parties.
