Yum! I had the Lard Na with chicken. I’d never had it before. It was very nice. Fresh veggies and cool kind of rolled noodles in a nice sauce, and a generous portion. The space is pretty small with only a handful of tables. It is very clearly a popular takeout spot. We were in town for a youth hockey tournament and this spot was one of those great surprises in a tiny town in a remote part of the state.
I’m in absolute heaven. I’m up here for a hockey tournament and never expected to find a Laotian restaurant. I needed to find something different than bar food and this place did not disappoint. Pictured is the beef laarb. Medium spice. My mouth is watering from all the flavors. I’m going to go here on my way home back to southern MN. Great job to the owners for bringing authentic Lao cuisine to this community. 100% recommended!
We have a place right behind this restaurant. My wife absolutely loves the Pho they prepare here. It is a very generous sized portion (huge, actually), of which my wife can never finish. The other day we ate there and we were told they WOULD NOT give her a container to take her leftovers home. We eat here at least 3x/month and i was flabbergasted at the idea that we were unable to take home food WE HAD PAID FOR. The prices are quite high for what it is but some highlights like...
