(Bring blankets, lawn chairs, plates/silverware if you prefer, and a bag for your own garbage). Lots of yard game options available.”

“Me and my son were in waseca for his hockey tournament and we had a big stretch between games and needed to waste some time. We decided to try Oscar's. First I'll start with our waitress Amy who was phenomenal! It seemed like she was the only waitress working it was around 2 PM on a Saturday. She had about 5 tables that I had seen. She was so attentive. She would check on us but no too much to where it was annoying. She made small talk with my son and he is not a people person. He kept whispering how nice she was. How sweet she was. What an hard worker she was. I never leave reviews and he insisted we leave a review and a nice tip. We didnt wait long for our food and when it came out, it was hot and fresh. The food choices were really nice My son is a vegetarian and there was so many options for him. Before we go somewhere new I have to Google the menu to see if he can eat there and so it was amazing that his only vegetarian option wasnt mac n cheese or fries. He ended up getting the flatbread cheese pizza which was delicious and it was a big portion so we were able to reheat it later and it reheated very nicely. I got the buffalo chicken philly which was so juicy and flavorful. They didnt skimp on the ingredients. It was very filling and I was able to take the 2nd half home and eat it later. We also got the spicy cheese curds which looked "burnt" but it wasnt. We were skeptical to try it but once we did it was great! Overall all the food and service was truly phenomenal and any time we have a game/tournament in waseca we will definitely go back!”

“Short staffed when we went there on a Saturday afternoon/evening. Nice place, just not sure where the town people were & the Club wasn't extremely busy. Can sit out on a three season porch area, which is quiet when visiting friends & family. We didnt eat there to rate the food.”

“The real cherry on top of the whole place is the men's restroom door that was mounted upside down on giant hinges held in place with lag bolts because it looked like it had been kicked in one too many times.”

“I have been eating at Yellow Mushroom since the early 1970’s and know the restaurant well. Had some great experiences and some challenges over the years but my visit today was great! The pizza was done to perfection and a real throwback to the quality I remember and expect. The service was fantastic too! Quick, efficient, and very friendly. The owners were engaged in the food prep and service and you could tell great care was given to the details. The restaurant was also clean and well organized. Definitely give Yellow Mushroom a visit, especially if you have not been there in a while. The new owners are great!”
