They gave our table away to someone else on Thanksgiving. We obviously had no other plan so we needed to stand in the middle of the restaurant awkwardly while they tried to figure out where they could put us. The table next to us was extremely loud. It was difficult to have our own conversation at our table.

Swanky upscale restaurant with a hip bar and great menu. The appetizers were delicious- try the bacon! Cesar salad was great and the sea bass was so tender it melted in my mouth. Great place to enjoy a meal.

My husband and I had our first date at 6Smith, and today we were celebrating officially ending his cancer journey, as he has his port removed, so we decided to come back to this special place and have our favorite app Bread is Life.
No matter what you eat at 6Smith, you wont be disappointed. The food is incredible, the atmosphere is amazing, and the staff is great.

Overall excellent food and service but a few key fails. 1) Service very slow even with lots of staff standing around. Apps took half hour. A glass of wine and later a latte each took 15 minutes. Manager note: no one is keeping track- The expediters or runners are not delivering the product within a reasonable time frame and the waiter isn’t monitoring. Note we reserved early and it was slow and this still happened. Feels like no one cared about the diner. Staff didn’t even look at us or the table. This isn’t acceptable at any price point, especially this one and you need to get your staff sorted. 2) everything was oversalted ON TOP with flake salt. Most of the food was also salty, but then over salted on top. And I LOVE salt. It burned the tongue. We were a party of 6 and spent over $900. 3) menu font ridiculous. if you are going with dark interior, you need a larger font menu without beige paper. This is unfair especially to the vision impaired or elderly.
Steaks cooked perfectly and delivered hot. Excellent sides and apps. Fries and some sides not hot. Deserts, cocktails, wines by the glass all excellent
