My friend suggested this place and we went for the first time. The atmosphere was nice, but the service fell short. About five minutes after our food arrived, our server brought us takeout boxes even though we were still actively eating — we hadn’t been there long at all. We brushed it off and kept enjoying our meal, but it quickly became clear they were trying to rush us out. Our server repeatedly came back to clear our table and asked if we were done while we were still eating and our coffee and drinks were still full.

I just had an amazing conversation with Andy, my server, while feasting on a perfect breakfast taking some potatoes home with me! Ohhhh Yeahhhh

I visited this morning for breakfast. It was my first time there. The space is very nice and the food was good with a lot to choose from. But none of that means much when the service is bad. My friend and I sat at the bar and the male with gauged ears was our server. I'm not sure why but he seemed to have a problem with me immediately. He was professional to my friend and he was extremely friendly with the couple next to me because they were regulars, but he was very rude and unprofessional to me. This treatment ruined the experience. First and last visit.

Went there on a Friday morning, took the restaurant 20 mins to make a latte. Our food arrived earlier than a latte.

We’ve been to Benedict’s many times before. They are close to home and we love eggs Benedict and haven’t found any place that comes close to the dish served here.

The challenge is, there is always an issue. There isn’t a time we’ve went where we left feeling satisfied. Most times the dish comes out cool, not hot or the French toast is soggy or over medium eggs aren’t over medium. Other times the bill is inaccurate or we don’t get the silverware we ask for or they don’t know how to make an adjustment in the new system. It’s ALWAYS something.

Yesterday, we came in and ordered our usual: monkey bread, French toast and 3 orders of eggs Benedict. The monkey bread came out cool and soft, not hot and crunchy on top. The silverware the server took after we finished eating the bread, which she said she would replace with fresh, never showed up so when our breakfast arrived we took them off another table. When I dug into the hash browns something foreign popped up, turns out it was a blueberry, but it looked gross and didn’t belong in my hash browns (they comped 1/2 of one eggs Benedict).

When the bill came I paid with a gift card we had and noticed the server never took off the credit card charge they have. They didn’t know how to credit that back so they issued me a separate $5 gift card.

To add insult to injury, I looked at the bill last night with my wife and they charged us for two orange juices ($11) when only one was ordered.

Benedict’s is a beneficiary of location, great atmosphere and just good enough food. What never happens at this restaurant, is attention to detail or the slightest improvement over time. They don’t have to. I love their eggs Benedict but I’m tired of issues on every visit.
