Super disappointing. I had family from out-of-state visiting and given our experience, I was embarrassed I brought them to Benedict’s. The food was below average, there were six of us and we all agreed. The male seating guests was unprofessional and rude. Definitely no customer appreciation. Be aware… Benedict’s takes the liberty to add a 20% auto gratuity fee AND charged a Credit Card convenience fee for each order. No incentive to ever return to Benedict’s.

This could have been a very enjoyable brunch, but our waiter--from the beginning--tried to push us to finish as quickly as possible. He brought our food, and then the check ten minutes later. This would have been fine, except then 15 minutes later (after we've been in the restaurant for a total of 45 minutes), our waiter says he is "obliged to inform us that people are waiting for our table." It's honestly unbelievable how blatantly this dude was trying to get us in and out, which, unsurprisingly, began after he found out we weren't purchasing alcohol. Pathetic. We will never be back.

We’ve been here a few times over the past couple years. The Benedict’s are mostly good. The food in general is consistently above average and service is consistently below average. If you have a couple hours, I would probably recommend.

The food was good, but the service was disappointing. Our server brought the bill as soon as we got our food and ignored us after we paid. I also suspect we were overcharged, so I’ll be calling them tomorrow.

I liked the corned beef hash. It had a little different taste to it. The service was good. I'd recommend getting a reservation though. It was very busy at around noon on a Sunday!

Okay. I am not a prima donna and have not left a poor review anywhere before, but…
Upon entering, my husband and I requested a booth. The person at the desk said, “I have a table.” Very brusque and didn’t answer the question. What else would you have if not a booth?
He then took us to a 4-top. I saw a 2-top six feet away and requested that. He said no. We then spied an open booth (!) and asked for that. He said there were no servers there.
We sat down at the 4-top. Finally got coffee that was not hot and it seemed that the cream was milk? We ordered and then noticed a couple had been seated in the booth we requested 12 feet away!
Our order was finally taken; we waited quite a while for our food while the couple in the booth were already eating!
No offers of lukewarm coffee refills; had to ask. My omelet was almost cold. The cheese was chopped chunks not shredded so it would melt. Salad leaves were rather limp, not crisp. Sooo disappointing.
So in summary, hello! The customer should be accommodated if a request for a type of seating is available.
Maybe the people seated were regulars? This was my first visit to Benedict’s and my last.

Nice vibe, the trout Benedict gave me horrid indigestion, tho. That was a lit of money to spend on a tummy ache.

Benedicts were delicious so get that and creme cheese monkey bread. But pesto chicken salad was below average. Drinks were great too
Over all great atmosphere and was warm as opposed to other reviews we found before visiting.
Parking: Parking is on opposite side of road as well as street parking was full when we reached
Kid-friendliness: Kid was given entertainment booklet and crayons and lots of family around so definitely kid friendly

I worked in the service industry for over 20 years so I know Sunday breakfast/lunch service is difficult and can be hectic. However, today it was very sad and I may not go back. I was told that the wait would be around 45 minutes, so when it got to be past an hour, I walked up to the host stand and asked when is my name coming up? They said oh I’ll check you in. Almost as if I had checked in online and hadn’t come in and said I’m here. No, I checked in on arrival at 10:45 and they said 45 minutes approximately we got seated at 12:15, my fried hot chicken Benedict was wonderful, my sister’s side of fries was ridiculous. She had like 15 fries for seven dollars. The bloody Mary’s that we ordered, came after I was finished eating, the ice was partially melted and the bloody Mary and the beer was warm, so that just meant it was sitting on the bar for about 20 minutes. While we were waiting for an hour and a half my sister had grabbed a cup of coffee, knowing that she was going to order one anyway, so the waiter asked if we’d like that filled up I said yes please. Well, that didn’t happen until after I was done eating either. I went to the wait station to see if I could fill it up myself and the pot was empty. I wish the food runner that dropped off our food would’ve asked, “Is there anything I can get you” like normally happens, then at least I would’ve gotten a warm up on the coffee and I would’ve asked them to remind the waiter about the bloody Mary’s. I’m the type of person that likes to take a bite of food. Take a sip of my coffee. however, understandably so they were dropping stuff off and dashing off, hoping that the waiter was going to do their own job. Yes, I tipped 20% anyway as I know that there could’ve been extenuating circumstances. Maybe he got seated six tables all at once, but if I was the waiter, I would’ve said these drinks are on me. I’m sorry I completely forgot about them. It’s too bad because I really loved going to Benedict’s maybe they can only handle a weekday lunch.

Stopped in this morning at 11am to see if we could get our group of 10 on the waitlist to get seating aground 12:30. Friendly hostess seemed to have a good handle on things and said it would work out “perfect” and she could seat us in the back area. Said those tables should be cleared right about that time.
Arrived at 12:25 and was offered a high top table with a bench seat and backless stools. Unfortunately this wasn’t going to work for our group which included two elderly people and 3 kids among others.
Manager came over with attitude and stated “this is the table we seat 10 at” … “ we are not asking other guests to move to accommodate your group” … “we can seat you in another place but you’ll have to wait”
I wasn’t asking them to move other guests and never would. At no point did I receive an apology, or an effort to find something that would work.
We do enjoy the food at Benedict’s despite the prices, but we’ll think twice before we go back.
Red Cow a block away got us in, served up some complimentary mini donuts and our group enjoyed a delicious brunch.

The food was bland and expensive. Service was slow for them to have little amount of customers and a lot of servers standing around. Definitely not worth it.
Cole was super sweet, and kind. The food was as delicious as always. Have only been there for Breakfast...but soon we're planning a lunch outing.
