A gorgeous fall evening on Lake Street in Wayzata! Our server Jesse was great and we were there for a birthday and they made it very special! Spun salad amazing, steaks were done perfectly and the martinis were on point! The Som helped pick out the perfect Zin to complement our steaks and lamb.

Service was excellent . Server was on top of everything. Kept drinks topped off and dishes cleared. However the food took a long time to come. We waited quite a while to get any food. Then waited awhile to get our entrees after we ate our salad. Lighting is extremely dim. My guest had to hold his menu under the little table light to see it.

We've been going to Giannis since the days that they had playing cards on the ceiling. Last night we dined on the patio. The Spin Salad does not include the salad cart at your table: hand delivered salad plates they claim are Spin Salads. Ordered brussel sprouts which were charred completely black and tasteless. The filet was very tender but could have been warmer. Sorry to see the revised Gianni's.

Beautiful relaxing dining room. Nice ambiance. Walleye was delicious with capers and a light sauce. Glad it wasn't heavily breaded like other restaurants. Strip steak was a tad undercooked but enjoyed. Disappointed we were charged for a bread basket as the waitress didn't mention it wasn't complimentary when she asked if we wanted bread. Asparagus was okay but not worth $18. White tablecloths and booths made for an enjoyable evening to chat with friends.

Everything was perfect last night for my daughters birthday 🎁 The seafood 🍣 tower was amazing... The Family Style Wagyu platter was fantastic! We had 3 desserts 🍨 to finish and they were delicious... All in all a perfect night at Giannis!!!

We were celebrating my Mom's 95th birthday. She uses a walker and is blind in one eye. Our biggest issue with Gianni's is that they are not handicap friendly. They have valet parking, but you have to step up a big curb. We were told to go to the end of the block where there's a ramp. The city of Wayzata is under construction. The side walk was literally a very scary obstacle course for my Mom and me to navigate. It was a nightmare. All of us ordered the 6 ounce steak... which was the best steak we have ever had. The service was amazing. My husband and I will come back again, but never again with my Mom in tow unless Gianni's improves their handicap access.

One of my friends was visiting, and we wanted to have some steaks. After looking online, we found this spot—and it turned out to be fantastic!
The steak was cooked so perfectly that I literally said “Wow” after my first bite. The sides and vegetables were also delicious. The service was very attentive, and the atmosphere was great, which made the whole experience even better.
The only downside was the fish—there were quite a few bones, and I had to keep spitting them out while eating.
It’s a bit pricey and definitely on the fancy side, but overall I’d recommend this place for special occasions or when you want to treat yourself.

We were celebrating our anniversary, and Gianni's was the perfect place. It's rare these days to find a restaurant that's quiet, especially when busy! At Gianni's, we were able to converse in normal levels, which was appreciated. Carlo, our waiter, was incredible. He was very accommodating and extremely attentive. He made sure we had beverage refills without asking, encouraged us to take our time, and handled exceptions with enthusiasm! Our dinner was delicious! We had a lively celebration and highly recommend Gianni's. Ask for Carlo. . . he's exceptional!
