Jade Fountain Chinese Restaurant

First time eating here was 8/17/24. There were so many flies that I started killing them myself! My friend didn't want to leave. The entree wasn't good. The appetizers were. The Dept. of Health (OSHA?) should be notified of the fly infestation. I can't imagine how many are in the kitchen. Service was very slow, it was only my friend & I. Eventually a few people arrived. Most people seem to pick up their takeout, more than dine in. I do NOT plan on going there again.

Took a bite of my beef with garlic sauce and felt something sharp slice the roof of my mouth. Spit it out and found a metal staple in the beef. If I would’ve swallowed that, I would’ve ended up in the hospital.

Parking: Plenty of parking within the plaza as well as plenty of street parking.

I have been eating here since I was a child. It is always a great experience with great staff. They are attentive and always making sure you have what you need.The food tastes great, my go to is the Moo shu Pork and the steamed dumplings.

This place came highly recommended by a friend. It was really good. Disappointing ratio of beef to broccoli (heavily favoring the latter) but otherwise well worth the price and drive

I was hoping our last mediocre experience here was just a fluke. It wasn’t. The last 2 times we’ve ordered, the chicken was like eating jerky with sauce on it. The sauce is great, but what’s going on with the meat? Portions are smaller than ever and prices are higher. We’ve been going here for 20+ years. Time to find a new spot. It’s unfortunate because the people who own it are very nice!

Ordered shrimp egg foo young and the vegetable chow mein. I usually rate a Chinese place by their egg foo young. It came with 3 patties and they were normal size but the gravy was way too salty and it was very expensive. I rated it 4.5 out of 10. The vegetable chow mein was a lot better. The flavor was good. I would rate it at 6.5-7. The waitress was very friendly. The overall rating of the dining experience was 6.5-7. I would also like to mention that the prices were pretty high compared to other Chinese restaurants in town. I will probably not go back

I've had good and bad Chinese food. This rates on the low end, and it's way overpriced. Service was rude: my family and I were scolded for arriving 15 minutes early for a reservation in a nearly empty restaurant. The appetizers were OK, but the main dishes were mediocre at best. We didn't even care to finish eating them and we certainly didn't take anything home. We were seated at an undersized table that was cramed into a dark corner where a light fixture had burned out, beneath water-stained ceiling tiles. I will never eat here again.
