best food in town!
Our favorite restaurant in the west metro! High class without feeling stuffy. high quality food!
Hands down, my favorite spot in Wayzata!
Fantastic atmosphere and very fun inside with all the plants and the stone fired oven for pizza. However, the service we experienced was not very good. Whole prawns to start were excellent and banana bread with olive oil ice cream was delicious. We split entrees for my fiancee's birthday of the bucatini and the salmon. The pasta came out split into two different bowls and was excellent.
However, the salmon did not come out and when we were brought the dessert menu we asked about the salmon. We were the lectured about if we were to order the salmon we would have been asked what level of doneness we would prefer. It should have been an apology and thats it. We also had our bottle of wine taken with some still left, a small gripe but added to the frustration.
Overall good food and a nice atmosphere but service could have been improved.
Came here w my roommates for dinner and had the best time. Everything was perfect and we had a great time. Pictured is the Tartufo pizza (very cheese heavy fyi), Rigatoni Diavolo (get this if you love pasta), and Wild Acred Duck Breast (might be biased as I usually prefer duck breast over steak, the skin was a nice crispy and sauce was very light and aromatic). Not pictured are the multiple espresso martini’s we ordered so we’ll be back soon enough for more!
We stopped in for late cocktails on a Thursday night and had a wonderful time. Our waitress was very attentive and had great suggestions. I asked if they had port and they brought me a small pour to try of a Madeira. It was lovely.
Food is exceptional. Predictably good every time. Great cocktails. Excellent service!!

The heavenly, truffle-topped risotto, white pizza, and the polenta fries made for a decadent dinner I won’t soon forget. The mulled wine aperol spritz and martini were standout, and perfect accompaniments too. Josefina absolutely delivered on the fine dining experience I was expecting; with its knowledgable staff, cozy atmosphere, and attention to every detail from start to finish, you can’t go wrong. I can’t wait for another occasion to try more of their menu here.

The Restaurant at this location used to be the Blue Point and we were frequent diners there. The new Josephina has been significantly remodeled and has a very nice, but more modern atmosphere. Service excellent. Food was a little disappointing. We were a table of four and and each had something different. No one commented much on the food, which is not a great sign. In my case the portion served was so small it was comical. Literally 1 cup of mushroom risotto in a big bowl for about $34. It was very flavorful but I finished it in six bites. That was my entire meal - we expected there to be bread or something served at the table but that was not the case. I ended up eating a second dinner once we got home as I was still so hungry. Overall a nice place but a bad value for the price, at least for my meal. If we ever return I'll try something different.

Sat at the pizza bar. Great waiter (he was also bartending). Service is easy going and very competent.
Dietary restrictions: They took my allergy seriously and notified the kitchen for extra precautions.

My wife and I went to dinner with another couple. We had a reservation, and we're seated right away. The waitress was patient and took our orders timely. We ordered the eggplant, gemeliand, and rigatoni, all of which were excellent. We are planning to go back.
