I would rate this a 4.5/5, but Google doesn’t allow half stars, so it’s getting rounded to a 5/5. It isn’t the best quality fish by any means, but it’s good, and the service was very fast. It was FAR superior to Kyoto Sushi and my favorite AYCE sushi spot in the cities thus far.

I went with a few friends and it was the first time for all of us, so we tried a bunch of different items. Normally I’d stray away from most sides/apps, but we enjoyed the squid salad, calamari, tempura, and I thought the salt and pepper shrimp was fantastic. They didn’t limit the number of anything you ordered, which was really nice. Some places will limit you to one or two of a certain dish, but I didn’t see that anywhere on the menu.

The amount of rice was probably 1/3 or 1/4 that of Kyoto, which was a huge relief. With nigiri being my favorite type of sushi, I hate when they give you a ridiculous bed of rice underneath the fish. The sashimi was good, but the slices were a little small. This is likely to reduce waste, so I don’t really mind. We each ended with some ice cream, which was good as well.

For just over $30 per person, this is going to be a new go-to for us whenever we are feeling like going ham on some sushi. The restaurant is clean, servers are kind, and there is plenty of free parking. Great spot!

This is my go-to sushi spot. You get excellent quality for the price point. Servers are fast, food is great, and I highly recommend the teriyaki squid!

I had high hopes but unfortunately the food didn’t have flavor, I never had a flavorless stir fry before today. Also I barely made it home to toilet right after leaving… I will never go here again. 50$ for food that made me sick instantly..

The best Sushi buffet in Minnesota. While I do like that Kyoto/Akita have all you can eat grilled shrimp, this place has more good dishes in the end.
Very friendly staff as well. Highly recommended.

Food wasn't as good as the maplewood mall, sorry but our waiter meng... needs to listen more carefully...8 wrong orders, dont even know the menu and bringing us someone else orders and how long does it takes to make fried shrimp and scallops, meng either forgot or it's just slow, wasn't even pack. Like 8 people only...I'm disappointed today...maybe I'll give it a try again someday. As for food, those sashimi surf clam...was plain as crap...no flavor..1* for food, 1* for service. That bad!!!! And trust me, I love food.

Update...2024.. I would give 3.5 food. 4 for service and staff. Has been better. Food quality just need to be better but you get what you pay.

Always amazing. Sometimes it takes a while, but they hand roll everyone’s orders. Can’t go wrong with the all you can eat.
