We love old time ice cream stands ...they are like the place time forgot. We live in apple valley so this is a 35 min ride for us on clear days of traffic. My wife ...and this is a quote "I would go there every g damn day if I could " end quote. So that is why we are here but it was worth the drive ...not only for the ice cream she loves ...and the chicago dog that was pretty good and yes they freaking put ketchup on it chitown... it was worth it to see the smile on...
10/10. This place is a must. Adults, kids. Doesn’t matter. Bring your dog. The subs are fantastic, the ice cream is amazing, and the atmosphere is even better. It’s a long line, but it’s a happy line.

I explained to the person at the window that it was my first time and they suggested I try the flavor of the week which was raspberry. I decided to have it dipped in chocolate. And, got my dog a pup cup! They ask if you want the cup smeared with...
