Our waitresses have always been so wonderful and the atmosphere is great, but unfortunately this time the food was not. We ordered the buffalo chicken wontons and they were burnt and one of them was empty. I had the tempura shrimp tacoâs (which I normally love) but this time only 2 shrimp came on each taco and they were so heavily dressed that the shells were soggy and the plate was a pool of sauce. Maybe this was a one off because they were busy that night. Definitely willing to give this place another try.

I am local and have been coming here for years. Always loved the place, atmosphere, and food. Currently working in service industry and have for the past 6+ years working downtown wbl and immediate area, this has always been a go to. We have a favorite dish that depending on who is in the kitchen or serving can be hit, or miss (have had the issue but have always gotten in right in the end) . Granted, so made sure to ask for Brussels extra extra well done,Because of the inconsistency of how they come out and how we know how to request them since we have had them so many times⊠we ask the same thing.. every, single, time.. . âŠin the end they came out with no crisp and hard to center.. which obviously meant they werenât well done. When we talked to the bartender about it she brought the manager over.. whom has take care of this same situation countless times for us⊠and brought up how we have had to have them redone I. The pastââ which come out great when they do.. . but in this instant advised instead of trying to have them re done.. that we âmaybe stay out and stay away from The Brussels.â And she was upset, like we did something to her personally. Currently being a server in the area I can understand frustrating days.. and have had some many great encounters with this same manager.... but this was one of the most u professional confrontations I have been apart of. The sad thing is I will continue to come see the few employees I know that are excellent and/or have worked with at other locations In the past. But unfortunately if the same manger is on, I wonât be staying in and will pass advise the same with back story of my same, recent experience. Obviously still tipped 20+ percent because we all work for a living. But Tonight was a huge let down and honestly wouldnât feel comfortable or âwelcomedâ back.

Two of us had the walleye dinner, and we're somewhat disappointed. Portion was good, presentation ok, but there was little flavor to the fillet or the rice dish. We did let our server know. The dessert was excellent. They had a sauce, which I didn't care for. I'm a lemon ? squeeze guy. I had a cup of French onion soup; I don't recommend it.
Parking: The day we were there was White Bear homecoming. The parade was downtown, so that made parking much worse . So we parked west of the railroad tracks and walked over.

A great place with a fancy pub-like atmosphere, a good selection of Minnesota beers. The steak bites were terrific, and Rachel was the best server.

A nice dining establishment with good food, friendly staff, and what looks like a great patio when the weather is nice.

The patio was lovely, and surprisingly we rarely heard the traffic on the busy street. We went for happy hour, which was a good deal. My husband and I split 3 appetizers (beef tips, brussels sprouts, and duck wontons), which were very filling and delicious. Our waitress was great fun! My Bluephoria Martini was wonderful (so wonderful I had 2). We'll definitely go back again.

Everyone was great... The food was massive... Alittle more than we thought we'd get but perfect for the price... It's not a big menu, but it's still an awesome place

Really good food and although it was pretty noisy when we first arrived at 6:30, it quieted down after a while and we were able to have a nice visit with friends. Good service too! Would come again!
Dietary restrictions: A fair amount of GF options.

For a bar, it's great. For dinner, it's a bit loud if the bar is full. Food is good, service great... We'll be back.

There is a Porchetta sandwich on the menu. I quickly looked up Porchetta and see it is pork roast. Great, I love pork roast. I had to discreetly spit out my first bite because it was just grisly fat. I ate about a third of the sandwich then gave up. When I (calmly) showed the waitress all the fat she replied that pork roast is a "fatty cut". Then she used her pen to point to a strip in the fat and said, "There's some meat". Very disappointing. I left hungry and a bit poorer.
