Not sure what took us so long to try MIZU. Everything we tried was amazing! The atmosphere was so incredible chill. We tried 4 rolls and couldn’t pick our favorite they were all delicious! The sauce on the Chili shrimp with scallions was to die for, the waiter brought my husband extra sauce. This is our new Favorite restaurant!

We went there to celebrate my son's birthday. Unfortunately we went on a night the was understaffed and with not manager on duty. Service was slow. They should have closed a section and to let less people in. Instead to better serve the clientele. But with no manager to make tough calls they packed the restaurant when not enough cooks and serververs were available. Quality suffered. Will try again someday and perhaps service and food will be better. Its a pricey restaurant so the service and quality need to match the pricing and on this night it did not.

Restaurants have off nights, and unfortunately I think I caught Mizu on one of theirs.
Had a reservation at 7:45 and was promptly seated outside on a beautiful night. After about 10 minutes someone came by to take our order (rolls and nigiri) … and then we waited … and waited … and waited. After about 30 minutes, they came out with some complimentary fried rice because it was taking so long, which was a decent gesture.
Still, we kept waiting - and after over an hour with none of the food we had ordered, I had to request the check for the beverages we had and decided I would just forgo the food we’d ordered and go someplace else. About five minutes after requesting the check, our food came out (by my count, about an hour and 15 minutes after we ordered) - it was fine, but as I ate, I realized I was wishing it hadn’t come out and I could’ve left by then.
Rough nights happen, but a 75 minute wait for ok sushi on a Tuesday means I’m almost certainly not going back. Great location, though.

I love the vibe of this place, and it's a perfect spot for summer.
Sitting outside, watching people, the lake, cars, and music goes on is an incredible night.
Staff were nice, friendly, helpful, and were able to provide details of drinks and food, plus she checked on us consistently. Appreciated that.

I was just there tonight for my daughters birthday. Everyone from the manager to the servers were wonderfully friendly while somehow simultaneously providing a more formal experience. What a gem. The food was very good. I liked the pickled dish so much I ordered a second just for myself. Everything else was just very very good. I will be going back.

This place has great food and a beautiful view of White Bear Lake. My favorite drink is the blood orange margarita. Spendy, but sooo delicious! I had the beef ramen and it was fantastic.
Parking: There’s a public ramp you can park in for free behind the building.
Absolutely the best sushi restaurant around town! It is so fresh and everything you order is incredible! Love this place all around, we have been here a dozen of times and it never disappoints! Service, atmosphere, food and cocktails are spot on! I have recommended this place to everyone I know!
