Went in September 2025 on a Thursday evening. Ordered a large Sirloin, when served I soon discovered it next to impossible to cut the steak. As a matter of fact I left about half of it it was so tough. Bad experience, won't go back and certainly wouldn't recommend to anyone.

The worst sirloin I have ever ordered in a restaurant. Very tough, I needed a saw to cut it. Don't recommend the establishment and certainly did not live up to comments I have heard about the place. Won't go back.

I haven’t been to Minnesota for too long but this is the best kept ‘secret’ restaurant. Best steak, shrimp, and twice baked potatoes. I’ve driven through snow storms to get there. If you knew how to get there before GPS and cell phones. And BYOB!

Everything was fantastic! The food, waitress, the speed of ordering to receiving our food. The steaks were made and cooked just right! Always a treat to eat there! ❤️

Get there 45 minutes before opening. They only allow 40 diners in at a a time. Bring your own alcohol and tailgate in the parking lot with everyone else. Apps/drinks only on the patio. I had a burger thinking it would be cooked on the same appliance as the steaks. No, it isn't. Cash or check only unless maybe they will let you do dishes.

Arrived at 5:30 pm on Saturday, and it was completely full with an hour and a half wait, which we couldn't do. We were so disappointed but the food looked great!

My friends and I put our name on the waiting list and proceeded to their deck outside to have a drink and wait for our table. Being that the place is cash only, I brought a $100 bill to pay for our drinks and dinner. I bought a round for my group of 4 and my total was $20.50. I asked the bartender if she could break $100. She said yes and proceeded to make our drinks. She took my $100 and 50 cents. I stood there waiting for 10 minutes or so at the window for my change. When she finally came back and I asked her for my change.. she gaslighted me and told me I paid with a $20. She “checked the till” and said there were no $100 bills in it. Being a cash only restaurant.. I can’t begin to imagine that they don’t have a $100 in their till. So I immediately knew then that she was lying. She blatantly stole $80 from me and other guests that watched me order know it, too. Based on this experience alone, paired with our hour wait for a table.. we won’t be coming back. Watch out for the bartender with blonde hair and a nose piercing.. she definitely pocketed my money.
