“Just a little place with very good steak. I can't even describe the atmosphere because there wasn't any! The restaurant has just enough room for the waitresses, the tables, and you to sit down and have dinner. Not one extra square foot!! On to the food, I had the prime rib and the asparagus cream soup both of which were scrumptious. Big portions on the prime rib! And the service was wonderful. My only gripe is they didn't have dessert, however my waistline thanks them! All in all a nice place to go for dinner just make sure you're ready to wait your turn. ?”

“This is a great place. Great menu. Trevor, my server was outstanding. Told me what was good, and he was right. Had the patty melt and it was very good ?. Good selection of ? The manager, Tracy, was on top of everything. She made sure that she visited with all of the customers. If I get back this way, I will definitely stop in again.”

“The place feels weird walking into, closed off entrance and a long hallway. the staff is very nice tho and the prices are good. It's a nice place to have a beer after a long days work but I'd say the atmosphere needs a little updating.”

“Drive until you see the pheasant then pull over!The steak sandwich is fantastic!Wonderful diner feel, but with the advantage of a real steakhouse and full bar. Jack Slades is the family restaurant side. Plenty of comfortable chairs at the tables.There is also a bar connected next door and you can order food or drinks on either side.I will definitely make an effort to return.The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu.Parking: Huge parking lot. Plenty of free parking right in front of the restaurant.”

“I like this Subway. Small town feel. Good employees. You get the same food as at any Subway. However, the uniqueness of the restaurant and the small town feel gives it some charm.”

“One of the BEST managed McDonalds I have frequented. They are happy to take my custom order, and greet me with a smile every time. Food is consistent, and orders are accurate. They keep the store and the lot clean and up to date.”

“At the risk of having the whole town of Windom, MN hating me, I have to say that this place is undercharging for their lunch menu. I got 2 meals out of my order of chimichangas.In fairness, I was eating the chips and salsa before the food arrived. The salsa is a wee bit spicy for me (I'm a wimp about heat) but REALLY good so I kept eating it anyway.I will totally go here again when I visit Windom. ?”

“We try to go to Hardies most Sundays after church. The last few months the service has been great! Faster service, food delivered to the table and coffee on the counter for refills. We appreciate the service.”
