“usually great service and great food. But not tonight.I usually get to pick the pieces of chicken on my meal. I was told tonight by recent orders of the manager that I could only get the pieces listed on menu. Did not get my order of cream cheese. I had to go up to the counter and remind them that I ordered monkey bread. It was late.”

“Passing through town and we stopped for dinner ( 9pm) ordered to go and ate in the car. The place was very clean, people were polite. Large portions and absolutely delicious! If ever passing through town again we would be sure to stop again!!”
“The team did a great job with my order. There were several cars ahead and behind me and they were still friendly and focused! They made my drinks with efficiency and accuracy. Excited to come back!”

“We drove across South Dakota from Colorado via North Platte Nebraska on two lane highways for 10 hours because I'm a two lane road-less-traveled kinda guy. I've been doing it since I went to college in Greeley, Colorado in 1975 from Minnesota. Windom is always the place for the last 50 years and I didn't even plan it that way. They used to have a Happy Chef where you pressed the button and the giant Happy Chef talked to you. So, we were unable to find anything to eat as we bounced back on Interstate 90 headed east, just before we got to Sioux Falls, SD which is about 60 miles away from the Worthington, MN exit, the beginning of the trek northeast towards Minneapolis on old Minnesota State Highway 60. Just a short time off the Interstate we arrived in Windom a little after 9:00 p.m. For those of you who are not Dairy Queen experts, most small town ones close at 9:00 in the summer time, although a few rare ones stay open 'til 10:00 p.m. The inside seating closes at 9:30 p.m. according to the sign on the drive-thru although we were eating in our car at 9:30 and people were still sitting there. Remember, when you are starving after coming across the South Dakota desert at 98 degrees all day, those hot dogs are pretty darn good and they are all that and a bag of chips if you order the combo. The two boys working in there slammed the food and mini-blizzards out in record time.”

“This was amazing. One of the items we ordered was a filet o fish. It was made so prestine. The bun was centered, so was the cheese and the sauce, and the sauce was evenly distributed. The guy taking our order was speedy and efficient. The car in front of us took a bit to get there food but other than that this was phenomenal.”

“So thankful for the helpful service at this Hardee's - I had surgery on my shoulder and can't use my left arm, and Dawn along with others helped me to make my meal more enjoyable.”

“Have been there several times with excellent service and food. Last Saturday we were very disappointed with the food. The shrimp and potatoes were great. The ribeye was awful. Very tough. The prime rib did not look like their photo. It looked like it was cooked earlier and just warmed up. Did not say anything because they were busy, and we were with friends.”
