Went in September 2025 on a Thursday evening. Ordered a large Sirloin, when served I soon discovered it next to impossible to cut the steak. As a matter of fact I left about half of it it was so tough. Bad experience, won't go back and certainly wouldn't recommend to anyone.
I haven’t been to Minnesota for too long but this is the best kept ‘secret’ restaurant. Best steak, shrimp, and twice baked potatoes. I’ve driven through snow storms to get there. If you knew how to get there before GPS and cell phones. And BYOB!
This small, unassuming restaurant delivered the best filet. Tender, flavorful. A lettuce salad and warm roll was served first, and our twice baked potato was delicious. We were prepared for cash only. \nIt seemed ‘in the middle of nowhere’ but plenty of folks filled all the seating available. We’d go back if ever in the area again.
